Coxall quote in the mail...

Coxall added: “We should not even be talking about relegation at this club. I really felt that this season we would be better than that. This season we have had the biggest playing budget for some time at the club. That is why our situation is so disappointing.

Coxall is either one of the most disorganised people ever to run a football club or a massive bullshitter who knows fine well what he's doing. I could be wrong but bullshitting away while taking a good wage and using the club as security for loans seems likely to me.

You get a few remarks on here about their board and they all have a dicky fit!!!!

Not that I was bothered greatly being abused by people who didm't know me from Adam it just got a bit pointless every trying to contribute with the 'debate' That was three or four years ago and it was from all the usual suspects involved with this embarrassing shite now. Some people on here don't help granted but it's been going on for years on that side across various forums. I don't know who he is but is that 'Richo' lad he is just about the worst and always has been for slagging people off he probably doesn't even know, and ironically and quite comically that's what he gets dead upset about. It also seems way more of a clique than this place has ever been, they're as thick as thieves (no pun intended  )

As I said the other day I don't want to get involved in all of this really but I suppose I am doing now but is unbelievably sad behaviour.

There's nothing like not getting paid to give rise to high feelings. Some people will be more vociferous than others. Some are more prone to exaggeration than others.
It seems sure that a pay date was missed, but from there to the serial non-payment of players is a bit of a jump. It'll all come out in the wash.

As for who signed Rodney, it's pretty clear that if they knew they were putting Hignett on a bus then he wouldn't be signing anybody. That doesn't tell us who did sign him like.

Have I got a stalker here!?

With all due respect I did post something like 'wow you talk some shite' the other day but it was in response to you making the hysterical claim that our current squad wouldn't be competitive in the conference. How else would you like me to describe that comment?

Great way to cut costs:
Get rid of two players from the wage bill.
Lose the assistant manager and now the manager.
Club now has less outgoings, that should cheer GC up!
Not one penny I suspect has come out of GC's money to run this club.
We now have at least 2 loans set against the fixture and fittings to pay the bills.
Serious cash flow situation, talk of players not being paid, unpaid bills to HMRC. Probably more demands from HMRC over the coming months or so.
Plans about the millhouse development being put about (pie in the sky, in my opinion).
Players playing as if they are not interested and probably most want out, (who wouldn't if you are not getting paid)
And this Plan B was probably to run the club into the ground, get relegated, walk away leaving the club owing lots of money and the fans end up with no club.

Or I could just be being a touch cynical......

Didnt Jones say in a very recent interview he nearly accepted a job but turned it down late on? Was that us?

I may be imagining the above like.

Also could he have been in talks with Chesterfield? I think they just appointed someone so maybe he was waiting for that first?

Interesting that there has been money this morning for Sam Collins to be next manager with Skybet. If the deal was all signed, sealed and delivered on Jones, you would think there would be folk out there sticking 400 on to nick 100. Wonder if he is having second thoughts ? Bloody well hope not !!

Next Permanent Manager
Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager:

Dave Jones 1/4
Sam Collins 6/1

If Gary takes his time those people waging on Sam being in charge in 10 or more games will be laughing! It's the cheapest option after all.

Stalker? you wish

It was not a claim, It was an observation built on the last 20 games or so.
What really puzzled me was the team in no way reflected Higgy and the way
He played the game himself (Honestly and with 100% commitment)
I should know i seen him play enough, And i have nothing but the utmost
respect for the way he conducted himself on the playing field.
However i believe he got team selection wrong, And at times his tactics
Were naive.

Hignett did not sign Rodney 100% fact.

He was signed by coxall or someone else at the club.

Hignett was adamant he would not get a game for him.

Just another thing wrong at the club.

Does that make Rodney the new Michael Mackay then?

TBF Del Boy always said to Rodney "This time next year we'll be Millionaires!", and one day it happened! Maybe it's a positive Omen!!!!!!!
