I'm budgeting for a £5,000 ticket ( in other words f**k it)+vat.

Pools should charge at least £800 for a season ticket, separate the TRUE fans from the rest.

I've heard talk of getting fans in on loan next season and don't want to alarm anyone but I'm sure I was in behind an artic with the floodlights on heading south on the 689.

That would be just plain weird.

I've heard there's a place were 'Uberfans' can meet up in dark rooms to 'talk' things over with like minded consenting 'Ubers'. Though their role as 'Ubers' disappeared with their clubs, they still buy a platinum season ticket at the top rate and turn up at their closed ground to pay on the day even though it's shut, to push a wad of dosh under the boarded up turnstile. That's a true (but deranged) fan!

What's the difference between someone whose been going 30 years, turns up week in week out, is now now only to those around them and otherwise totally anonymous and do one who enters every season to a fanfare and is known to all as a top fan... ? The unknown stalwart or the Cock that crowed?
