Post subject: No red sauce on bacon etc
PostPosted: Sat Jan 07, 2017 10:29 am
My father would be turning in his grave at the thought of new fangled sauce on his beloved bacon butty, it is wronger than brown ***** on fish digits, it is quintessentially bwitish unlike the amercanised ketchup sauce which the new fangled kids eat daily on their nuggets and fries.

I actually got angry writing that, fucking ketchup my arse, my nephew has to have it with everything or doesnt eat it, I know it is probably more to do with the sister in laws shit parenting skills but she has massive tits and I forgive her!

I don't care for sauce of any description with a bacon buttie; just want to taste the bacon, butter and bread.

That said, just about everybody I know douses the bacon in tomato sauce, and these days I can see their point - supermarket-bought bacon is cut so thin and so full of water that it dries out to little strips of tasteless nothing when cooked.

I've just been to Blyths butchers at fens shops, got some dry cured bacon and the slices are like gammon steaks. Going to put that between two slices of thick white bread with butter and tomato ketchup.

A bit like not going to pools and spouting off at the problems, if you don't go, zip it and let the expert gobshites hog the front page, or in this case if you don't buy it, hug a tramp

Butter is OK if the bread is toasted. Not otherwise, though.

Made a cracking bacon sarnie last night.

3 slices of bacon, thick cut, 2 slices of thick sliced bread, toasted with butter. No sauce. It was ace. Even the wife was jealous.
