Today's match was a bit of a dissapointment for the poolies. The region is proud of it's footballing heritage and the lads have to realise this and step up. You have to be proud to wear that shirt and show a bit of dogged determination to push forward and get that ball in the back of the net. In days gone by, such as in the days of Cooper and the likes of Micky Barron, the players showed heart, guts and passion. Let's get it together and show a bit of determination.

First half, the lads were getting a few good passes together but I think the Mill House were still recovering from their Christmas pud or something - where was the singing? Are you football fans or what? Man Utd fans sing all match, I heard one song from the Mill House and only a few more before the end. The Vic needs good atmosphere and the team needs support.

Second half, the tempo of the match still seemed to be the same. If the lads pushed forward a bit and showed passion and commitment, they probably would have done a lot better. In the old days, players such as Gordon Watson and Buddy Halliday would have ran rings around those Blackpool players today.

At Christmas time, it's great to see football but let's hope Hignett can turn around the team's poor performance and get the team up that league table. United!

May I be the first?

Fuck Off!

The Mill House doesn't sing - we moan.

TBF Poolie Chanter only mentioned the Lads in the 3 long paragraphs!

Aye, you're right. That fourth paragraph was awesome. Credit to him.

Now Buddy would waltz around players, then go and try and beat the same man again in equally struggling Pools 'division 4' sides.

In 1991 we lost 0-1 at home to Blackpool then look what happened with the understated Alan Murray as acting manager !

Piss poor effort. I will give him 1/10 for remembering his password.

I stopped reading after he said Micky Barron
