managed to read it.

I am sure someone cleverer than me willasnwer this, but:

Does his tweet suggest HMRC have put Pools on a strict payment plan?

Why would they do that?

I'm willing to put my neck on the line. I don't believe the owners. I truly hope I'm wrong purely because of what's at stake.

If their plans for the Millhouse area actually happen I will drink warm milk with Monkeybutt.

I would be honoured that you would stoop so low. however I have decided to take the fiends of backs to the wall approach and wait and see, as a trust member I have to be impartial and my opinion has to be on the back burner, no more opinions from me on bookface!

I may join the lads at the Aldi arms for a pint later, the landlord has removed the tables and chairs and put a fence in, just for the occasion :hand:

Has anyone got an idea of the size of this loan and the monthly repayments?

Wasn't the short fall for the millhouse master plan £5 million?

I'd just assume the loan is for £5mill

Otherwise getting a loan for any other amount would just be daft

Coxall on Twitter today said something about a lot of investment coming in soon. If true the loan must have been a bridging loan to pay the tax bills.

He also claims that while the loan is in Pools name he personally guarantees it so I'm convinced...

I think we should lay off Gary Coxall a bit, I don't believe that he's the villain in the piece. That place is reserved for Peter Goldberg or whatever name he's going by this week.

Personally I suspected that Coxall is on the list of those stitched up.

So what's this asset that's going to save us? It's Messi isn't it? Either that or a Venezia Pizza vending machine for the Millhouse Stand.

He needs to get off Twitter he is the chairman of our club, and responding to stuff in 140 characters and quite often swearing is at best completely unprofessional. He seems a good bloke the type if I bumped into out for a pint tomorrow I'd like and enjoy his company but I don't want a good bloke in charge of my clubs future I want someone who knows what he is doing I don't see much evidence of that in recent times, but I honestly hope and pray my gut feeling is totally wrong.

I have been wondering, what use would a small sum of £100k be for the potential development of the Millhouse site. Not enough to buy the site and you could only build about one and a half houses for that.
What I do see in my line of work though is people with little of their own money buying an option on a site. They agree the terms of the sale up front with the vendor (the council) and then pay a non-refundable sum to get exclusivity while they go and find a buyer. In the meantime they get planning consent, increase the value of the land and take a cut when they flip the site on to new owners. If they fail to find a buyer they lose their deposit and the land owner makes a few quid for nothing.
I might be way off suggesting this but I just can't see otherwise how a short term loan could be related to development of a fairly unpromising site.

The 100k was the debt owed to HMRC wasn't it? As far as I'm aware we don't know the value or terms of the loan.
I suspect your suggestion could be correct as Gary has suggested on Twitter that investment is coming and the loan was used to buy an asset to save the clubs long term future.

As for Gary only being the front man, if there is anything untoward going on, he's in the thick of it and will be fully aware any such causes for concern.
Also, if he wasn't on Twitter we'd be back to IOR levels of communication as there's nothing more on the official site than there used to be and the local rags only print what's given to them.

Goldberg is indeed the Finance Director, this IS about finance isn't it? Has he fucked off, because there's been ZERO mention of him in any of this panshite?

Apologies, that's what he is with JPNG and possibly numerous other companies which may or may not be insolvent. He's listed as director with Pools so hopefully we're utilising skills he may possess other than financial.

Regardless of title, they're co-owners but one likes to be in the spotlight whereas the other likes to be less visible than our old mate Ken.

We were sick of IOR because they told us nothing, and now we're at the other end of the spectrum I feel it's just as bad. Coxall is really pissing me off with this Twitter stuff. We're turning into an absolute soap opera. The more he winds up these journos the more they're willing to look into him and Goldberg. We've even got a new spokesperson it seems who he's passing his delusion through. An embarrassing way to run a football club.

Nowhere nice mate, just thought i'd show my face over Christmas. Haven't got as much interest in Pools at the minute, things only seem to be heading one way but as I like to complain, and things have become so desperate of late, it now seems like an ideal opportunity...

Nothing like a bit of controversy to get the board regulars back.

At the first I didn't mind the novelty of him on twitter. Now I find it annoying as you quickly realise he actually says fuck all of note really.
