Right then, we are up and running with the new board. Unfortunately the last 10 minutes have been lost but there was only one post; Frank Reid asked on the Never Say Die thread why it was needed.

No its not the final look.

I need to tweak it but the first stage was to get it up and running (no mean task)

I'll get the colours sorted and they will be very similar to the old forum. Give me a bit of time dibble, this is new to me too so I'm just finding my way around the new control panel. All the colours have to be changed in the php files rather than in the themes section of config as it was before. More complex to operate for sure but far far more secure in terms of hackers. In case you hadn't noticed we are bombarded with attempted hacks every night.

Just one thing: on the index page there seems to be no longer any indication which forums have unread posts in them.
Any other concrete criticism will come once I'm used to this layout.
My first reactions were I find it very hard to read, very hard to diffrentiate the posts, and I like to know who is posting before I read the post - the avatar on the right doesn't help that.

Last nights Bunker looked much much better than it does now....I hate this look....it isn't very user friendly at all and it doesn't fit on my screen!!!!

Up until a couple of years ago I posted on another Message Board and at my last count I was in the 24,000's posts bracket....they changed the format to a similar one to this and i stopped posting on it and I haven't been back since!!!! confised

Mut, let me finish tweaking it and see how it looks then. It's not just about the look of it, there are security issues with the old theme.
