Another Manager given money to spend like Scott, Cooper and what makes it even more strange he resigned a player he let go as he deemed him not good enough !
I do think he was a hasty appointment by an inexperienced chairman.
How long do we give him ?

Many would already have been sacked due to his record over last 15 games or so.

Really?

Bit knee jerk for me. I understand the concern but swapping and changing managers every two minutes is not the answer.

When we get things right, how much better does the current side look when compared to nearly the same one under Moore?

This is a pretty soul destroying result but chill out. I've seen every game this season and today was easily the worst we've played but it's one game. It happens.

We've played some of the best football this season that I've seen in the last 3 years.

You can play like Barcelona but if you cant defend and your midfield is non existent it matters very little.

In response to the question asked, no.

However, he is under pressure IMO. I can forgive the poor end of last season as he was just laying the foundations for this year but so far our results have not improved.

It is still early but how much time does he get. He should start by bringing back Hawkins and dropping featherstone.

At least Toto is back next week

He's definitely under pressure, his recent court case won't help his case in the eyes of any detractors either.

That said I think it's too early to write him off. He's recruited some decent players and some yet to convince but they should be given the opportunity to at least.

What the Jesus suffering fuck relevance does how fast he drives his car have to his managerial skills, at least to anybody with even slightly more than a teeny tiny brain rattling around between their ears?

'His recent court case'

Fuck me, ridiculous. Even more so than the daft thread about it.

Ask Coxall who said Hignett would be out of a job if he lost licence.

No need for the over reaction my wife would of been proud of like, I simply said those already slating Hignett will no doubt use other recent negative stories about him.

Seriously?

Really?

Did he say that or did he provide a document that Hignett required in court to keep his driving licence, Do you seriously think he'd have been sacked for speeding in his car? Jesus wept.

Was it not more a case that he'd struggle to fulfil his job without a license sctatchinghead

In any case, maybe just maybe the case was causing stresses that impacted work.

Hardly a case was it he's not OJ Simpson or Ched Evans, it was a speeding charge not even worth close to mentioning in the context of his job and today's result.

The squad has quantity but not much quality.
About 6/7 players kept on drawing a wage from the club who wont get anywere near the first 11 or squad.
Thats bad management player wise and financialy.
Talking about finances the pay on the day revenue will soon become next to nothing.
Already relying on the FA Cup to boost the coffers to balance the books.

Is it 1 win from about last 12 games and no clean sheets.
And one thing for certain this season it will be back to the 50 points mark to retain league status.

And stuck with these players till January. violin

Will glady settle for 22nd place. rolf

Anutha quality shit post from KPG.
Just dont say its bilge

Don't forget Hignett is aiming to win the league. He'd be up there with the great Brian Clough(not the Bunker one) if he did it with these players!

It's a marathon not a sprint as Chris Turner used to say in every interview.

Could Hignett benefit from an experienced assistant manager? Wasn't Fleming brought in as a coach and there was still space for an Assistant?

Billy Horner is only 74. Could it be time time to spark up the blue and white Datsun?

What is 'quality' he is right. The comical reply 'basic commerce' couldn't really smack more of someone making stuff up just to be negative for the sake of it.

Also nobody said we were going to win the League.

You're talking in riddles man, what are you on about who is living in dreamland what basis do you have for the comment?

You remind me of Hutchy a Darlo fan who used to post on the forums back in the day, to be fair you're nowhere near as stark raving mad but you do remind me a bit!!

Comical this. As soon as a hitch occurs, out of the shadows come the ungrateful dead giving us their repressed prejudices and firing from the hip.
They've always been with us.
