I'm a little surprised by this one (unless someone else is leaving by the way) in that it's an area we already have a lot of options and Hignett is trying to shoehorn a system that allows him to play Alessandra, Podge, Paynter and Thomas. Having another relatively lightweight nippy sort of a player up there to compete for a place we haven't got isn't a priority for me???

He may end up being a star, my comments not really based on Fewster more about priorities per position

Thing is when higgy shoe horns everyone in it leaves us light on the bench. This gives us a class option from the bench at least.

Need to know what to feed the players on a Friday.

Pretty sure he played on a wing for York rather than an out and out striker.

Higgy been moaning he cant fit everyone in so somehow must be leaving surely.

Wouldn't surprise me if Thomas left if the right bid came in.

He is a similar type of player to Snodgrass, currently doing well with Hull in the Premiership. I wouldn't entertain anything less than a million.

Does seem strange to sign 2 strikers. Unless he's letting Oates out on loan and wants back up.

Heardman just back after a year out so will surely be backup for Paynter. Can only imagine Fewster will be Thomas's replacement.

It doesn't nessiscarily mean people going the other way, once the window is closed its closed until January it makes sense to make your squad bigger. If we're going into games at times playing a front three you want cover in all of those positions.

Can't see any bother in this, we are getting our hands on two decent youngsters. Fewster was the only shining light for York last season and I seem to remember people on here cooing over him, wondering why he'd not signed for us. I can't see Thomas going now anyway, it's too late.. unless the lights are still on at the vic...
