I went with a mate who doesn't have a season ticket. We left the mill house pub at 14:50 and were inside the ground with 5 minutes to spare.

It wasn't as bad as the first game all of the extra ticket offices were quiet and the queues apart from where I mentioned were small. But we had about 350 less paying customers than the first game, disappointing after two good away results I hope none were put off by how long it took to get in against Colchester.

Before anyone else comws on saying jow good it was, just remember this.

There are plenty of people with issues and lets not forget there was only 3700 there.

Now think on. Whats it going to be likeif there was 5700?

Its all so bloodystupid and utterless pointless.

In fact its crass stupidity.

Putting aside the fact the new turnstiles and system hasn't arrived on time......looking forward to when it's up and running I think it's a positive step for season ticket holders to swipe/scan card and get in the ground. I also think when people can buy tickets online and either print at home and scan into the ground is also positive and more customer friendly.

However even when that is in place it would make sense to have a simple way for people to pay on the day and get in the ground if they decide to rock up last minute. Can't see why the club couldn't make a parallel system. Alternatively the new system needs advertising much more clearly.

On Saturday I found it easy, bought ticket at 2pm, had a pint and walked in easy. However, I knew the system was in place and even then it makes no sense to have to walk round to opposite side of ground when you want to get in town End from Millhouse side and no real signage or clear instructions around ground. Needs a rethink for on the day floating fans even if the new turnstile process (when here and working) will be a very positive move long term for regulars

Make on the day prices 12-15 quid for the whole season. Have a few cash turnstiles, along with the swipe ones for season ticket holders. Job done no problems average gates will be up by few hundred and everyone can get in without waiting. Not sure why were trying to make it more difficult for floating fans just doesn't make sense. As a club we just seem quite content to have a half empty stadium. When its pretty obvious a few tweaks could probobly get the crowds over 4000 immediately. If people are fiddling which looks like it was a possibility judging by the massive gaps in the ground now compared to last year and were still getting 3700 in.

Prior planning prevents piss poor performance, although what would you have to bitch, moan, fish or t roll about then?

Prior planning...? How about just turning up and not making a virtue of complicating the simple ...?

How many people decide at 2.45pm that they will go to the match?

You can buy online, from 3 ticket booths and yet some people leave it until 2.58 to get in the ground so they can have 1 last pint, it is a pathetic argument, a waste of airtime and started by somebody who doesn`t go to the games!

This clown is a an attention seeking fool, but entertain him at your will.

How dare the chairman want to secure the clubs finances from pilfering/collusion just so people are not kept waiting eh

We didn't decide to go till 2.40 on Saturday, pubs and beer played no part , it's called choice, what suits you may not not suit everyone else.

Are you for real?

If so how about answering my question about how well you think it will work for cup games?

As for this arriving a 2.50 this happens at all levels, some fans go to the pub beforehand, some go shopping with the missus, some come straight from work. At Bishop where the average attendance is 250 there are 2 turnstyles, 1 for cash, 1 for Season tickets. There is generally a "large" queue at 1 and no queue at the other. So the Club re-evaluated the system and hey ho this season both turnstyles take cash and St's.

I'm sure Pools are moderating all new systems and will re-evaluate performance then implement any changes required if deemed necessary/practical.

Yep for real, do you have a computer device and a debit/credit card like most of the modern world?

If the answer is yes, then buy online and the tickets arrive at your door, if no the get your self to the club in plenty of time and get your ticket, simple really, leave the drama to the others.

You arrange for the ticket office to open at 6 in the morning or til 7 at night and I will buy from there. A lot of people have to work you know.

I would just like to know this brilliant system we are installing can makesure that no one can get in with out paying but there is not a system that logs when the turnstiles turn to allow a person to enter. What is happening different to the turnstiles because on the opening game entering the town end I seen nothing. Not everyone life is Hartlepool United shudder to think it maybe once was but times change I for one was close to not bothering on opening day. I think other points in the current club management should be questioned as what happened to free travel to away games did it come to the exact amount from Derby. Or did it pay for the PA system to be heard I personally hold reservations on the current club running and I will for a while. Been able to log people in regards season ticket stubs or somes of money should be a basic if it's based on trust. I would take numbers would need to be account for as part of the Talyor report but maybe I'm wrong.

Exactly. Why would you. Yet some are so clouded by their love of all things pools they cant or wont see it.

For the millionth time. This doesn't really affect regulars or me, as I know the score, but will affect new fans or tourists. Just those pools are desperate to attract. Just for harp 5678.

If pools said they needed to murder all fans offspring some would still support them.

Anyway. I am off to twitter to chat to coxhall.

And slides are way more fun than Pools anyway.

Was like that at wet n wild yesterday. Screw that I just went on the hurricane n the other ones without rings.

That doesnt make sense but keep trying. You might come up with a decent insult yet. But you have had three goes now. Cant be that hard can it?

And you do realise that there are a lot of people on this thread that agree with me.

Or do you not realise that?

This place is going downhill.
