As for Prawn Crackers Mr Mutley, try Aldi's, supprisingly nice, and cheap. You could have mine but probs a bit far to travel for them.

If we can't beat Slovakia, we won't go far. For all the attacking options and goal scorers we've barely created any clear cut chances over the three games.

Tonight I would of said the game was calling out for someone like Wilshere, who can play a few one twos or pick a neat pass out but he did nothing. Henderson was as ineffective as any player I've seen this season, passing more than a few yards was beyond him and don't get me started on his crossing.

It's easy to say Roy's slipped up but now we play the runner up from group F, that could be anyone in that group but I'd fear Iceland most simply because they can defend and are exactly the sort of team we can't beat.

He left probably out two best wide attacking options Walker (although I'm not his biggest fan) and Rose. Tearing the opposition full backs to pieces and Getting the ball in the box early. Totally changed the shape of the team. His feeble same lame excuses at the end are embarrassing. Taxi for Woy

To be fair I thought the fullbacks did ok especially Clyne thought he was our best player behind dier. Overall our play was to slow, a faster pace instead of laboured ball retention with the odd step over pull back we would of won.

Not good enough really no plan B.

I know Slovakia didn't help with their 'negative' play (have they already qualified ???), but was was so boring....it was like watching 'crown green bowling' !

I thought Clyne did well, particularly first half. Betrand not so well.

I think it's a bad thing that in each of our 3 games a full back and a defensive midfielder have been our best two players. What are the rest of the team doing?

The point I was making with walker & Clyne was that although, and I agree, Clyne didn't play badly, but walker and rose seemed to be able to get forward much quicker and put the ball in earlier and also pose a threat with their shooting as well. It's just that there seems to be more urgency in our attacking play

Only one person to blame here and thats woy. Too much tinkering making it difficult for all six changed players to get to grips with the game.

I concur Mr Colonel. Also add in the changes and performance led to Ingerland coming second in the Group and a potential harder run to the Final. Mind you they always say if you are going to win a competition you have to beat the best teams.

I thought Wilshere was way off the pace, he really looked like someone who has hardly played all season. Henderson played slightly better but he was similar especially at the start. Not sure why we are resting people in a tournament that only lasts a maximum of seven games especially with the momentum of a last minute winner. The performance was dominant again but the final ball was frustrating albeit against a team packing the defence and putting everyone behind the ball.

Wilshire was crap, Henderson was also crap and his inability to beat the first man ever time was laughable.

Sturridge tries to do too much on his own at times and the defence despite zero pressure still nearly managed to mess it up!

Was excited before the tournament, not so excited now if we can't break down the Slovakian defence then what chance to we have against the better defences.

Well thats ruined a good piss up on Satday.
The bookies will of made some coin from that result
For all the possesion we had we dident create many clear cut chances.
Credit to Slovakia like who defended well.

It's worked well for me, I'm away in China and stood to miss the possible quarter final travelling home. Now if we make it I can catch it on the Sunday at 8pm!

England completely dominated the game and should have won comfortably.

I think some of you were watching a different match.

They are not taking their chances and havent in all three games. They should have won the group with three wins and should be leading scorers.

Vardy and lallana missed sitters that you cant afford to miss at this level.

Putting both henderson and wilshire in at the same time was a mistake though. But they were hardly to blame for the lack of cutting edge upfront.

On the plus side I doubt many of the other teams fancy playing us just now.

We have been much better than france so far but they have taken their chances. Not saying we would beat them but they will fear us.

Just seen the tournament stats on skysports.

England have had the most shots by 25 shots in the tournament so far yet have the 4th worst conversion to goal ratio.

Pretty telling stats.

You after laugh though at the way Wales are going on. They were lucky first game, got butchered by England, yet finish top, and now, from the interviews, its all because of their superior passion.

Bale has three goals, two from free kicks that any decent keeper would have saved, yet Bale is second most valuable player according the UEFA. He did nowt in the first game and was anonymous against England, but two shoddy goal keepers are making him look a world beater.

The Slovs' defence was only competent, not good. To be good you have to do more than just rely on the opposition's inablilty to hit the ball accurately with at least some pace on it. We didn't do that. We were trying to Arsenal the ball into the net.

We would have won if we were passionate like the welsh. Though not sure where that passion went when we played them.

I dont mind shit teams getting through to the next round but if they can do it a way that means they dont simply go for 0-0 draws from kick off then that would be better.

Of course if the Northern Irish can be as passionate as Wales, then they will undoubtedly beat Germany, and relegate the germans to second place.
