Utter stupidity, one flare hit a steward trying to clear the mess on the pitch.

How these things are getting into the stadium is beyond me but what puzzles me more is what people get from throwing flares? Grown men no doubt.

It looked like the other Croatian fans turned on their own because of it so at least they'll have got a beating for their idiocy.

They have had to play games behind closed doors in the past because of the so called fans they fight with each other unbelivable

They can fight amongst themselves, but acts of terrorism might warrant more serious punishment from UEFA than Russia received.

Big problems in the Croatian domestic game with violence at matches.

I worked with a lot of Croatians and many of them had given up going to games because of it.

Apparently fans are in protest at the Croatian FA, it's run by people who have embezzled money when they held positions at Dynamo Zagreb. As a result they do things like this in the hope of causing harm to the national team on the big stage.

The Croatian manager got the jobb to act as a puppet apparently. No doubt the fella mentioned by Gerry Mandrake's is the one selecting the team for his own gain.
