Just been to the paper shop near the new Mcdonalds, on the way back the path was littered with thrown away Mcdonalds cartons, wrappers, cups etc. Near to the Mcdonalds is a chippy, KFC, Dominos and Subway. Rarely see any litter from their establishments, which leads me to the conclusion that:-

A) All Mcdonalds clientele are Rarfs, and KFC etc have a socially responsible clientele, OR
B) Mcdonalds is much more popular so pro rata the litter if equal!

As an aside whilst on the subject during the Ireland game I noticed Mcdonalds are sponsoring the Players Escorts! I thought WAGS weren't allowed in the team Hotel, never mind Escorts. The players will be knackered, what about the no sex 24 hours before a game? Theres me thinking Mcdonalds only did fast food, but fast women too?

This tickled my fancy.

Isn't the player escorts what got De Gea into trouble?

I can't remember the last time I ate from McDonalds, KFC or Burger King. The food if you can call it that is vile. I only ever go in there travelling with work to have a piss, use the wifi and have a coffee (which surprisingly is ok)

I'm the same as you Compo, rarely use these establishments, although on the way home from the match on a Saturday I do sometimes get a KFC for me and me Dad (he likes them). I do agree on the Coffee front, whereas my mate reckons KFC's coffee is better than the likes of Starbucks.

Heritage Park is next to KFC and Sainsburys, just along from the new Mcdonalds.

I just wish 'The Bishop' had given some sort of hint previously.

Great thread.

I thought there was only one set of shops in Bishop Cuthbert? Is there another lot only the local villagers know about?

I had the unfortunate reason to be in Hartlepool Town Centre yesterday afternoon.

The amount of very weird, and grossly overweight people, sitting in that large seting area, proudly scoffing their McDonalds, was pretty sickening. If the town centre isnt bad enough to start with, having to wlak past that lot, scoffing like pigs, really made it a very unpleasant experience.

There has tobe better food to eat than that shit?

I've been into our "Town Centre" 3 times in the last decade.

It was 3 times too many.

Surely it's the worst Town Centre in the UK?

I always find it unbelievable the queues for that Mcdonalds in the town, sometimes stretches back to the escalator. Its god awful food, why on earth would you pay £5 for 6 awful chicken nuggets and shit skinny chips?

Can get a decent kebab for that price.
