We fucked off just as it kicked off, same scenario, police waded in, whole bar went up over fuck all.

2001 we went to Albania and your right about Chelsea fans there was a few of them walking up to groups of fans after the game in rome and the leader who modelled himself on the Yeti from the film the firm was opening his long black leather coat to reveal a combat 18 t shirt askin if they wanted some !

They got a shock when they came to our table they get sent packing they shit it when they got stood up too

I've known people go to arranged fights, using football as the excuse, and they say they only fight with like minded people. That's fair enough if true, kick shit out of each other as long as no one else is involved or even has to see it. With any luck their numbers will be reduced each time.

These Russian 'fans' attack anyone in a footy shirt that they don't like. It's going to be a damn sight worse when they host a tournament.
That firework going off during the game last night highlights their stupidity, the last sound anyone needed to hear at a French football stadium.

If it was that easy to get a firework that large in, with the so called heightened security measures it couldnt be that hard for some twisted twat to get in with a suicide vest.

UEFA threatening to kick England and Russia out the tournament if there's a repeat. So only 4 teams wouldn't progress to the next round! Cant see it happening but hopefully the morons take it seriously as the potential is there for further clashes on Wed/Thurs with transport links taking England fans through Lille where Russia play.

They should do, throw them out, OK the decent fans will suffer but it might make the F.A. Mob eating Prawn Sandwickes and drinking G&T take notice when there is no income.

Presumably if they follow this course of action, they'll have to disqualify France too as there's ample evidence that French 'fans' had travelled to Marseille with the express intention of having a go at both the Russians and English fans ?

Not far enough Jamie. They should ban all supporters from the ground/city matches are played. Then have a complete blackout, no TV, radio, Tinternet or press coverage. OK the decent fans sat at home causing no bother will suffer, but the FA will take notice with the lost revenue!

Let the minority spoil it for the majority!

Should just a ban England from having any fans at any game for 5 years or something. Hopefully the morons will find something else to occupy their tiny minds and never return leaving the other to enjoy a game of football.

Can anyone really see two or even one country being kicked out mid tournament? Imagine the financial implications, which lets face it, is what UEFA are really interested in.

I cant believe we have a few apologists on here for our scum football shitheads.

Yes the russians caused the trouble in the stadium.

And I said at the very beginning of the thread that english fans werent entirely to blame prior.

But there is plenty of footage showing them acting like complete tools. Pissed up singing inflammetary songs at a place very clearly on edge after the 18 months france has had.

Our fans just show jto respect to anyone. They think they can take over towns/ pubs and do what the fook they like.

If they had had any respect for the fearfrance currently has they would have reigned it in from the off and not tried to piss off the police who are probably more scared of a terrorist attack at the moment.

France isnt far. The fans dont need to drink themselces stupid. They just cant help themselves.

Its meant to be about the football.

Its not about tribes and tribal rivalry.

They are arseholes embarrassing the sport and embarrassing wherever they come from. Yes these Russian thugs are evil twisted bastards, from a country that in general is pretty horrible but we have way too many thick scumbags (who all look old enough to know better) who shouldn't be allowed out the town they live never mind abroad to completely shame us and take us back in time. How anyone can even begin to defend these doyles is beyond me. I know a few people at the game yesterday and they all knew the area to avoid before the match. I'd by surprised if any caught up in it outside of the ground were innocent bystanders they have just bitten off more than they can chew with the Russian thugs who seemingly don't just get blaked stick on a Burbery cap sing embarrassing irrelevant songs about the IRA, German Bombers and ISIS then posture at the Police they just turn up to actually kick the shit out of people with whatever comes to hand.

No it's not England's fault that is a daft comment it's thick embarrassing scumbags faults I'm not discriminating here on where they come from just acknowledging we (England) have loads of them and they are indefensible.

Why should we?

I have a better idea.

Why dont "we" round them all up, from all countries, lockem up, throw a away the key, so that normal people can enjoy the football, the culture, and the company of people from other countries.

And ban alcohol.

As none of them apepar to be able to drink sensibly or be able to handle it, without resorting to singing stupid songs about Germany, ISIS, the IRA, or even worse, a song about Scotland.

Like others have said, most of these seem to be 40 odd year old blokes, with bald heads and beer guts. If they had had any education, I amsure they would have grown out of it by now.

Oh hang on though............................there is a culture that I jyst dont understand.

We need this EU vote, and we need it soon, before the rest of Eurpoe decides to kick us out first.

Would it be fair to say that the English knobs were responsible for what they did, the Russian knobs (possibly helped by French neo-nazi knobs called the Boulogne Boys) were responsible for what they did, and that the CRS love indiscriminate tear gassing which always makes things worse?

You can then mix in choice of venue, poor segregation and lack of policing inside the ground which can be laid at UEFA's door. It all adds up to a dreadful couple of days for decent fans and local people who just wanted to enjoy a football tournament and that will include quite a few of the injured.

German thugs have been at it too.

A lot ofFootball supporters are sick.

Sorry like, but they are. They are diseased.

They need eradicating from this planet.

Football, as a sport is in the sewer.

Just supposing there was to be a ban and or disqualification for us and Russia, how would that square with the World Cup in two years time, would Russia still be hosting it? Or if the World Cup does go ahead as scheduled and the Russian 'fans' behave the same with other fans, could it trigger something even bigger as maybe the Russian police won't be as 'sympathetic' as the French police?

I went to Madrid in 87, great trip, train from Victoria to Madrid via Paris. Me and my mate, a mackem from Shields took a big union jack with Hartlepool United painted across it ( yeah it was good old fashioned paint in those days). Mob of about 50 Chelsea there, who had travelled over on a coach, probably the nastiest people I have ever come across at a game. One of them took a look at our flag and said " you will be alright" as though we should be grateful that we didn't get a good kicking off them. Some of them were carrying machetes, absolute nut jobs. It was all about them and West Ham at the time, they had a few lads there as well yet they rarely mixed, though that night they had to stand together after the match, as the Spanish were on the warpath. A group of Geordies or Leeds fans would not of been welcome in those days.

As for the Albania game, a mate of mine who was there, said the same , okay the night before, but at the game things changed. My mate, who is a communist and was there to support Albania and some friends, but could only get tickets in England end, was threatened in the ground by Chelsea nazis. and chased around Tirana after the game by them, because he was wearing something with a red star on or something.

I have no sympathy about the next world cup. FIFA deserve all the shit this tournament might bring. It should never have been awarded to them in the first place.

The only good thing will be Englands firms will be too shit scared to go anywhere near it.

A shocking tale Horden.

I have to ask though, in what possible way could that or any other trip, be considered enjoyable?

You'd have to be barking mad or desperately attracted to extreme violence to go to Russia in two years time. Obviously FIFA shouldn't have given them the World Cup and should now move it but they won't because Putin paid for it so it's his now.

Best thing I've read about the trouble over the weekend is on this link. Written by somebody who was in a bar that was attacked.http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/football/international/ken-early-russians-go-to-war-with-an-english-myth-1.2682005

But surely our top boys and top firms would see this as the challenge they have been waiting for, for a life time?

I expect them to be out in force in 2018 and I will be extrmely disappointed if they bottle it.
