Saw him at the match yesterday, looking well. Shame he doesn't post on here any more.

Agree 100% the forum was a far better place for posters like him, I'm not sure a more passionate Pools fan exists.

That last line makes it sound like a pirate is calling Parmo back.

I wish I was a pirate,
I'd sail the seven seas,
Along with Captain Parmo,
in a galleon made of cheese.

We'd hoist the sail and scrub the decks
Drinking nowt but rum
And when we'd been at sea a while
Some would turn to bum

When we enter harbour,
safe from raging seas.
We sleep with loads of women
....then catch a strange disease!

after seeing the thread title i was disapointed not to at least see reviews of a Parmo or a picture at the very least.

Not even poems bring parmo back,
I think he's on a mission.
He's given bunkerites the sack
so he can go out fishing.

When he's caught a trout or two
he might come back to see us.
If not we'll have to take the view
he'd rather sup some beers.

Walking through Stockton town centre today, there was a pie stall in the Market selling Parmo Pies and it is exactly what you think it is. Not really tempted to try one myself, want me to get you one Tree?

It's probably the pinnacle of its creators culinary career and as tempting as warm milk.

Yes, that's exactly it. What a relief. I was beginning to suspect you of being posh.

The Geordies call it taakin' like your from Ponteland.

Not sure if there's a Teesside equivalent. Smoggies all sound like smoggies, wherever they live.

I work in Durham city but I'm not THAT posh.
