They should do whatever that man asks to keep him when you look at how many years/managers they've gone through to get to the premier league.

Would Hignett walk out again if Karanka leaves and he is offered the job ?

Steve Agnew is taking charge of their match tomorrow

They won't go for Hignett, they'll bring a name in with pedigree to look to get them promotion. Nigel Walter Mitty Shithead would be a good shout.

If they do come for Hignett, I just hope Coxhall has a great set of balls and tells them to 'go away'.

Either he's upset someone or someone has upset him. Either way it would be hard for him to return if he's acted or reacted unprofessionally. There's a lot of concerned smoggies and long may the confusion continue.

Sounds like he's not being allowed to drop Downing, which undermines his position. Daft smoggies risking losing the best thing they've had in years. Inevitable seasonal failure in the playoffs awaits.

Certainly kept BBC Tees occupied today even though Borer not playing today, all I heard driving to Hartlepool was about Karanka and then driving home, they played the same thing all over again, hardly a mention of Pools at all

Nothing new in that! I was out and about the other night and had the 6-7 evening show on, 50 minutes of Boro then the presenter said "we should mention pools now because we have to". Sums them up really, anything other than Boro isn't really important.

What are most bitter about loan star Radio Tees or the Northern Echo?

Mind compared to that arse who does the Darlo coverage for the Gazzette you on the Echo's pay roll. He has issues.

clappp 2-0 down to 2nd bottom Charlton after losing to Rotherham. Wheels fallen off it seems, obviously didn't want to be outdone by the mackems and magpies.

Burnley have 2 strikers scoring n most of the team that got them promoted 2 years ago. A great bond between them and are peaking at just the right team.

Boro seemed to get where they are with a solid defence n shared the goals out, I think players can only do that for so long now they've been found out, the shit going on behind the scenes doesn't help. Coaches v players, there will only be one winner as players earn too much to sack.

You can see why nobody in the Premier League payed money for Jordan Rhodes, he's a really average footballer not a great touch, no real pace. He's obviously a good finisher and has a good record but £9 million doesn't get you much these days does it?

I'm sure he'll get goals for Boro in time if they don't go up if they do I can sim having a similar record in the top flight as Danny Graham.

£10mill has been spent on ross mccormack and jordon rhodes and they are both championship strikers, rhodes is ok but i'd next expect him or mccormack to get anymore than 5/6 goals in the prem.

Big money gets you nowt these days.

sctatchinghead he's staying?! If the players still want him gone there's only one way to do it and that's to fluff their biggest chance of promotion in years. Please do that brough players!

And yet £3m on Austin who had already bagged 15+ in the Prem?
