Right then ladies and gentlemen, I'm off tomorrow to hospital to get unzipped. Big cut down the middle, whip out the heart and re-plumb it. Should be relatively straightforward but you never know.

If I'm not back think only this of me. I came, I saw and I did shit loads of setting up this website and talking utter nonsense most of the time. I can however claim credit for keeping alive the memories of Alexandra Bastedo, Sister Gertrude (the bitch), Evelyn Harrison and her lonely hearts club band, Kenny Bottle and most of all.... reminiscing about climbing into Pools in the 70's with a raggy arsed Mutley.

If I am back then I'll be back in full voice. I've had to be very careful what I said over recent months because of the trust but I've decided that the downside of that strategy is that the Bunker dies a death when we're all careful what we say.

I don't know you at all, but all the best Mr I. Please don't be worrying about the Notts County game whilst in recovery, stress is not advised !
My stepdad had a quadruple bypass a few years ago, I'm sure he'd have been home sooner if he wasn't a Bolton Wanderers fan !

Good luck Mr I. All will be well after the operation. I was 52 when I went through a triple by-pass, No6 Bus told me I was too tight to go through a quadruple by-pass :laugh:

. Anyway I've never been in better shape so all the best for tomorrow.

Cheers everyone. Off to hospital now.

It's not NHS which is good from my perspective, private healthcare through work. But its tinged with a big chunk of guilt that the majority of the population would be waiting months. This can't be right.

In case you've got your smart phone switched on - don't worry about queue jumping, NHS don't wait in extreme cases.

My mate got his done within 48 hours of presenting - and the daft bugger only went to the quack in the first place because we shouted at him. He's as fit as a lop now.
