So what do people think is the magic number this season for staying up? 45, 50, 52? We've managed 23 points from 23 games so far, can we better that in the second half of the season or is it going to be another ''survival of the shittest'' situation. I didn't even consider play offs or above mid table for this season but I expected better than this.

Paynter and Magnay back in the side should improve things but I have very little faith left in Moore who just stumbles from one line up to another and one formation to another.

Whatever that magic number is I hope we can get to it quickly and that means absolutely not losing to D&R, York, Newport and Yeovil when those games come round.

You're usually quite accurate Chip and I fookin' hope you're right on this one.

Going on the points per game ratio of the bottom three, I reckon 40 points might be enough.

God forbid they ever have 3 up 3 down with the Conference.

We certainly dont want to be going into the last few games needing results. We don't have the favourable end of season games that we had last year.

Looking at the last four games of
Accrington H
Oxford A
Portsmouth H
Plymouth A
then we need to be 5/6 points clear after 42 games.
The 23rd team could possibly go down on G/D

The home games v Yeovil Daggers n York will play a big part in how many points are needed.

Guessing 47 should be more than enough.

Im sure Torquay went down with 51 points probably the most points for a team to lose there league status.

I just wish there could be a season where the question needn't be asked. Just one season like that, before we die.

Unless Moore gets his tactics and team formation right, or Sam grows a pair and tells him he is wrong, we are screwed, that was abysmal last night and back to getting overran in midfield!

Who in their right mind changes a formation that worked the 2 previous games, away from home in a building site and a biased ref banghead
