i dont know if parnaby is on trial for a contract or just with the squad for fitness but the fact that hes starting pre season games a week before the season start shows were short at the back. did jones pick up an injury? at the min we have three CBs in the squad (not counting bates) and were playing all three in the starting 11. i hope worleys injury troubles are behind him but imagine we lost him and harrison to injury or suspension

Not a fan of how 10 days before the season starts and playing Magnay in a holding midfield role. So seems may be short of cover for centre backs if going to persist with 3-5-2, short of central midfielders for same formation and short of wingers to go 442.

From Ronnies interview sounds like Magnay was covering for Duckworth when he bombed forward and then we'd switch to a back four? Anyone at the game who can say if I'm right or not?
