I am going there with family on Tuesday till Friday and just found out the hotel are going to charge £25 a day to park there which eats a lot into budget with a young nipper. Anyway I looked online but can only find similar prices I think I remember chip visiting there a bit glad if anyone knows any better would be a great help. We are stayin nh near the sea life centre on the front but t willing to talk if the parking charges arnt ripping my eye balls out.

I guess the moral is check out all the rip-off shit before you book. I'm sure there's a site for that somewhere.
Twenty-five quid is just taking the piss. An airport doesn't even run it close.
The most I've ever paid, and that was for a properly secured car park, was about 25 euros A WEEK.

Well my daughter is only 13 months so we will be going on the beach the pier and sea life centre. So as chip says unless it chucks it down all the time I will doubt I will need the car. Anything people would recommend there?

Brighton is a nightmare for parking, went there a couple of year ago for a mates funeral and it cost me around £60 over 2 days to park. Was moving between car parks to try and find somewhere cheaper, but to no avail, just made things worse. The irony was, some car parks you drive in and then decide its too pricey , but it costs you a fiver to turn around and come out. Amazingly also, some car park were full. On reflection taking a risk and parking a couple of mile out of the centre may of been of got a result, as the cutbacks mean less car parking attendants to monitor this abuse, but maybe not. I would definitely recommend anyone going to Brighton to book into accommodation that offers car parking. Other than that all I can suggest is park in Whitehawk, the rough part of Brighton a mile or so East of the Sea Life Centre or a couple a miles along the coast at Woodingdean or Rottingdean and get a bus back in, bus prices are reasonable.
