Ronnie has already said that only Carson is a guaranteed starter. Still plenty to play for but what do you reckon will be the starting 11. I'll go for:

Carson
Carroll
Harrison
Worley
Magnay
Duckworth
Featherstone
Bates
Fenwick
Bingham
Paynter

connor smith seems to have impressed so far so would be good to see that continue and push for a start. Lots of options / places up for grabs.

Not sure what formation Ronnie is going to favour which will obviously dictate the line-up. Duckworth will be lucky if he starts the season in the team I would think. Those who I would expect to be shoe-ins would be Carson, Carroll, Magnay, Harrison, Worley, Bingham and either Paynter or Fenwick. The next few friendlies against tougher opposition will shape the final line-up I would think...

For me...

Carson

Magnay
Harrison
Jones
Worley
Carroll

Featherstone
Walker
Woods

Paynter
Bingham

Subs
Duckworth
Bartlett
Oates
Fenwick
Bates
Kudus
Hawkins

Still no room for:
Richards
Green
Smith

How strong is the squad?!??

Looking at how he set up yesterday and on Monday (the two games I have seen so far), I think we will see a 3-5-2.

We only have one winger and Moore says he ain't been looking after himself and weeks away from fitness so I think 3-5-2 is nailed on.

Kudus played right wing back yesterday apparently. We do struggle in that position like.

Nice headache for Ronnie to have - looks a lot more promising than previous seasons...

He did, and he looked sluggish again. I would be playing Magnay in that position.

Will we be given photocards to help identify the avalanche of new players as the phrase ' who he fuck's that..?' echoes around the ground...?

If Morecambe are starting 11 I think Pools should do the same.

I'm glad you mentioned that, Snowy. Thought it was just me having senior moments.

Photocards are a very good idea. Or we could get the players to appear ahead of matches, one by one, as they do in international games, and fold their arms as their names are read out.

You've got to question someone of such high social standing and powers motivation for playing League Two football.

I'd rather someone like this bought the club than played right back to be honest.

Won't work. The players need to have that smug look on their faoe that only comes from earning obscene premier league Ferraris ... er ... sorry, wages.

Fenwick should be first name on the team sheet for me.

Whatever the starting 11 is it will be a big improvement on last season.
Sounds like Walker has sorted himself out expect to see him on the teamsheet v Morecombe.

Great opportunity for the club shop to sell sets of those giant headed plastic figures to people who can't read the names and numbers on football shirts.

Don't you just love a smart arse. Go on then...order a few to sell on. You can always adapt them later to accommodate the fact that the shirts haven't been endowed with names yet.

Bad news- I explored the possibility but they don't do non-Premier league players.

Good news - I did manage to buy a bargain bucket of Ben Arfas.
I've lovingly re-modelled his head using a soldering iron and repainted his kit and hair. I can now provide you with a bespoke Pools squad rapid recognition set that will put you a step ahead of all the other so-called fans. At only £29.99* per player I'm sure you will see this as a bargain.

All payments upfront and in cash before you see the photos. No returns.

*Each one of the unique PoolsStarz comes with his own transfer fee of £4.99.
