If it's a foreign firm that rules out local giants Samsung and Exxon then. Bugger.

I quite agree about Seaham being foreign.

With them prices the fans who cant get to all 23 games will probably decide to pick n choose there games.
This probably wont bother ior as they will get there usual 500k season ticket revenue of 2500 fans + the usual best player getting sold on deadline day (harrison).

I hope CHIPS right about new owners so we can become fans again instead of pissed of customers to IOR.

The BTE probably dont agree with me not that i give a toss about that.

£250 is sensible if the club want to actually increase the budget for players they need to generate cash up front. Do we really get anymore than 300 home fans paying on the gate, albeit at extortionate pricesr even if we lowered it to £10, when we are mid season against some southern outfit and not needing a roll of results?

The mad thing is poolies tend to come in their droves for a bottom of the league crisis more so than when we were top 7 in the division of indifference !

It's genetic, as we spent most of our history as a league club celebrating avoiding oblivion at the seasons end.
Pre IOR, it was the norm.

They will have them bought and be home back on the bunker bragging about it long before the ticket office opens.

I thought maybe a £50 increase,a bit off the mark with £70.

Cant remember what we paid for juniors last year, season ticket prices not too bad but why on the day prices at this level.

Can someone at the club take a look at how many paid on the day at full price last season then review prices.

Bang goes the grass sponsors.

Tells me they won't be around very long hope they fook right off TBH, had a whinge elsewhere £850 for me would of probably put it on Zebra in the end, that's not an option now. The gate prices are aimed obviously for season tickets to be the preference and get as much money in as quick as possible and no payments spread over 10 month. Why don't they ever do a family season ticket?[/quote]

Add this to the statement on the club website regarding the season tickets

With stricter regulations governing the Club acting as a creditor on behalf of fans now in place

I think its plain to see IOR are looking to make some cash and then fuck off in August / September having well and truly stitched us up. The best we can hope for is someone to come in now, buy the club and throw the old guard out on their ear - and that includes Russ and his family members.

So basically, those fans who can only make occasional matches because work or other commitments and the essential floating voters who we actually need, are being very badly treat.
It's got to the stage where if you don't have a seaon ticket you're a second class supporter. I never bought a season ticket till the cheap offer and never missed a match when I paid on the gate, but if I had to buy a season ticket for my lads and myself or spend the money on a holiday, the season ticket would come a pisspoor second, but then paying on the gate was reasonable so it wasn't a problem. It is now!

MJ do you or anyone know what difference between st and pay on the day prices before the season ticket prices fell.. Surely a prices of £12/£15 would be fairer for pay on the day punters.. Also would in not make sense to charge stand STE a little more than the terrace prices? Remember those plastic trays are expensive to maintain...

Thank God for March 2015 and the implosion of Cheltenham and Tranmere!

£250 - while I think it is reasonable enough to pay it, I am certainly not happy with it especially if it wasn't for the two factors above.

I think a lot of people will be waiting until near the deadline for this one, wait and see what happens with personnel first

I'm happy with it due to it being £10 to watch the team I support. I see that as excellent value in comparison to most other hobbies!

Maths not your strongest point Jonny It nearer £11 a game than £10... And then only if you can afford to pay the £250 upfront.

Some fans are missing the point its the fans who cant attend every game who might choose not to bother as the average price for shift workers will be closer to average £15 a game.

And thats when u got to ask uself is that value for money.
Depends on what players come in!

Seriously are splitting hairs over 80p a match?

The season tickets for an adult prices are fair enough. Realistically they probably had to be increased. Not an issue, £75 and £150 for concessions should be applauded.

The issue is clearly the pay on the day price and the fact they are almost trying to force people into buying a season ticket by keeping them at such a daft level.

I think they'll get a shock re uptake this year especially if there is no investment in the side . They have to look at the walk up prices but whilst they're trying to twist your arm into buying a ST they surely won't.

Leave pay on the day prices as they are (the same they were when we had a decent side featuring Eiffion, Boydy and Porter I think), then it alienates the exile fan like me. I'll be watching more away than home next season I'm afraid.

It boils down to the fact that IOR own the club and these are the prices they are asking you to pay, so you have a choice a season ticket if you can afford the £250 upfront to stand and watch their product its £10.87 per game if you carnt then its £20 a game the decision is yours based on your ability to pay
Its the same as a Pie shop if they are selling a pie for £1 and you don't want to pay the pound you have a choice you can ask them to reduce the price (they will tell you to politely @uck off) so you either pay the pound or you go hungry its just simple basics of running a business the price is what it is the decision is yours its your Money.

What if the pie had most of the filling removed and bits of the crust missing? It's been in the display for 7 years and only once every once in a while is a bit of fresh gravy put in. The pie used to cost 60p but this week they're asking you to pay a pound with no promise of adding filling or repairing the crust. They sold 2 pies last year that were very good and they upgraded the oven and the shop, the pie maker got his cut but the pie was still sat there. Lonely.

Would you still buy that pie?

Its not a pie its a football club . Supporters cannot make a valid commercial decision as they have an interest in club..

Its not as if you can go elsewhere and buy your "pie" is it.

They are exploiting their position with the match day prices to try and cajole us into buying a season ticket.

Its time to kick back

Your missing the point to us supporters its our Football club to IOR its a business and for them to move forward yes they do need to learn from the previous few years that we are in decline so if they want to survive they must improve the product they are selling to supporters who pay the money to support our club. Already they have taken steps towards improvement with a appointing a decent manager who will improve pools.
I have supported pools since 1962 and believe me i have seen worse times over the years but you carnt look back you must look forward and yes i do have a choice like everybody else i can watch other football teams, how ever my club is pools always has been and always will be and i will buy my season ticket for next year come what may.

Stopping beating about the bush over this. And twisting about IOR but then doing funk all about it........With the lame excuse that you all love your club.

IOR are c unts.

The only way to get rid is to not buy a season ticket.

And if you all love pools as much as you claim you would rather pay the match day fee than give any money to IOR.

But of course you all love your own cash a lot more than you love pools.

So stop the fake outrage.

Bottom line is, I was happy at one stage coming back to Hartlepool for the odd occasion to pay £20 on the day standing on the Mill House when we were kicking around in League 1 and playing good football.

Now I am not prepared to travel 300 mile and pay the same amount to watch a far inferior side at the bottom of league 2 in the knowledge we have trousered over a million quid in transfer funds and nowt has been invested in the team. It's gone past caring about my wallet, now it's a matter of principal for me.

The club once again prove that commercially they still dont have a clue. increasing prices by 40% after serving up the poorest football in my 16 years as a season ticket holder. Surely to show that the owners are fully committed to take the club forward they should have made some announcement on Ronnies future.

Of course they would make pay on the day expensive, the more expensive the better for them. It's an attempt to force you into buying a season ticket and IOR getting the money in the bank. Now that leave a big question hanging.... what is going to happen with that money because it demonstrably clear that it won't going into the playing budget.

Season ticket price seems about right but the walk up price, as everyone agrees (is that a first for the bunker?) Is a piss take. I won't be making the journey north to pay on the day this season, I may as well stick to away games.

The prices are set to maximise the income for ior.
Had it not been for them last season then crowds would of been sub 2000.
The ticket deals from last season also brought in about an xtra 200k.
For a team that almost went out of the league thats brilliant buisness for IOR.

Somehow i dont think we will average 3700 again for another relegation battle.

We will do well to get anywere near that figure next season even if we somehow pushing fot a top 7 spot.
