I'm sure Ronnie will have him in mind. I imagine Moore wont rush into anything though

Would prefer to see Bingham or Hughill back here before him but would still be a decent signing

I'd love to see him back. He scored 2 in 6 while he was here but lets be honest he should have scored the penalty at Oxford and he was going to poke the ball in at Morecambe before there defender did so it could very easily have been 4 in 6. He worked hard while he was here and I think there'd be a lot more to come from him playing week in week out and getting help from Ronnie

id have him back, remember him working his socks off for us. does make you wonder why cambridge dont fancy him though. its not like theyve set the league a light this season, cant pretend to know much about their team but their joint 2 top scorers got 8 league goals according to bbc sport. he got 6 for them and spent time out on loan with us where he got 2 so hes on par with their top scorers and i doubt they have the same work ethic

hope we can get bingham too. fenwick bird bingham and smith would be a a decent set of strikers

Not wanting to attract abuse but I also thought Bird never won a header and just ran around a lot.

Still better than what we had most of season but I for one hope Ronnie gets better than Bird now we are not bottom of the pile.

I'd sign Bird. I thought he played really well in his last couple of games. Be great of we could get Bingham as well.

I'd also take a punt with Tom Elliott if he'd come to us.

The problem will be wages in my opinion. The current owners won't exactly be wanting to increase the wage bill, if anything they'll be cutting costs as per usual.

As I said on a previous thread, I only saw Bird away at Oxford and he was excellent that night, that was the start of 'the run'.

There will be feathers flying whether he signs or not, if he signs it's because no one else wants him if he doesn't it's because pools wanted him on the cheap

I'll be happy as long as we stay clear of signing over the hill has beens, they spend too much of the game huffing and puffin.

I wonder why Cambridge told him to flock off. Maybe he was getting too much corn to feather his nest.

Cambridge havent released him for no reason.
Like someone said he never won a header is that because he dosent have a physical side to his game .
Would he stop running around closing defenders down once hes signed a contract.

Might keep us up but if we want top 7 spot we can do a lot better than BIRD!

I think you're ducking the main issue here, Bird is the sort of player we can afford on IOR's playing budget and on what we saw on his loan period is better than we have now.

I am not asking for Messi.
Just want the club to show ambition.
Bingham is out of contract would have him in before bird.

Like i said last week promotion guarantees 5000+ season tickets.
We not as skint as ior make out.

I don't swallow IOR's poor man routine (constant talk of policing, pitch, CCTV costs etc.), no reason we cannot have both Bingham and Bird (with money freed up from Harewood and Compton).

Only promotion can answer that quote mr B.
Jumping on the bandwaggon comes to mind.
If we go up be happy to be wrong and sell only 4600ish!
