David Conn was looking into IOR and pools early december, stopped when the club was 'taken over'.

I emailed him mid january and he said he'd moved onto other things but will keep an eye on it.

The takeover was announced just as word got round he was looking into us, funny that.

I heard he has re-started his investigation.

Howay lads leave Ken alone, he is the one who saved us from relegation after all. I heard he is getting a giant portrait of himself to replace the Shearer picture.

We also said at the time, that the negotiations on the takeover would be contrived to be completed the day after the transfer window shut.

And thats exactly what happened there as well.
