In what is a glorified friendly, what team would you like to see played next week?! Chance for a few swan songs, or to look at a few with not a lot of game time?!

I would go:

Flinders

Austin ( probably last game for club)
Harrison
Bates
Jones

Miller ( probably last game for club)
Featherstone
Tshibola (last game for club)

Nelson Abdy (let's see what he can do)
Fenwick
Hugill ( hopefully not last game for club)

Subs
Maxted ( last game for club)
Harewood ( last game for club)
Franks
Jones (last game for club) - or potential signing?!?
Parnaby (hopefully last game for club)
Hawkins
Smith

Moore has picked Austin for every game and has been quoted saying he's a good pro, I'd be quite surprised if he didn't get a new deal.

Yeah possibly. I think he is a 'good pro' but I guess he will be on a decent wage, is a bit limited in what he can do now, and with duck worth, parnaby etc presumably under contract is it best to free a wage to reinvest elsewhere?!

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Tshibola came back to Pools next season. Hugill would be more likely and is a typical Ronnie Moore type player. Would love to see Mirfin back, with him and Harrison at the back there wouldn't be many better defensive partnerships in league 2.

I just have a feeling we will sign Mirfin and maybe hugill if he doesn't break into prestons team but may end up in league one. No chance on fish

Hodcroft would sell his Grandmother if someone put in a bid.. It'll be a deal like Littlewoods catalogue 500k over 5 years but the vat paid upfront..

Yeah, there is no chance he has anymore boots or can get hold of any.

Them 3 pairs had to last him forever.

Baring in mind Compton already said on twitter that he's gone back to Cardiff, I don't think Ronnie is too bothered about giving people a last game unless it's someone who's been here a long time like Austin or a cast like Miller. I wouldn't be surprised to see Smith and Green starting.

Won't the likes of Miller,Parnaby and Bates have another year left on their contracts anyway? Can't see any if them agreeing to have their contracts terminated so they'll all be here next season

I'm hoping they only got a year with the option of another year. May suggest why Tommy got to make his 600th appearance on Saturday as it may have been his last

Both managers have the chance to experiment with fringe and younger players with an eye on next seasons plans
