On Saturday, we have a job to do, we the supporters.
Instead of following the team, we have to lead the team from the start, no responding to events, we have to change events. Make noise from the off, make the Exeter players uncomfortable from the start , no dropped heads when the going gets tough, just keep plugging away and don't be subdued by the opposition, make Carlisle a day out and nothing else...you have a job to do... a big job.

Agree 100%.

I'm actually missing the game, I don't know whether I'm gutted or relieved to be saying this but I'm in Liverpool. The weird thing is it's been booked since about October (it's something I can't get out of) but when we said we'd go given the state of Pools season I didn't even consider who Pools were playing and I didn't until about a month ago!

But I hope I've been to my last game of the season and don't need to go to Carlisle.

You're missing the point, it's not about the team, drop the finger pointing and blame game nonsense, it's about the part WE as supporterters can play.
Vocal support for the past couple of years has been subdued ..... there's been the odd occasions it came to life, but this has to be for the full match face on, getting at the opposition , not your players, stop the negativity and just make the place intimidating for thr opposition for 90 minutes..
What's done is done, there'll be a time for post mortems later, this is not the time, we have bigger fish to catch.

I take your point snowy, but really it is about the players, they need to turn up for both halves and show effort and commitment and what ever is lacking in skill and guile is compensated for by the desire to win, probably only then will the crowd fully get behind the team.

No doubt the fans will be well up for this one.
An early goal will work wonders for both players n fans.

Exactly. No point getting on their backs as soon as they make a mistake. There was alot of that at the accrington game and it just makes worse. Theres a reason we are fighting relegation and thats because alot of the players arent good enough, so they are not suddenly going to start playing brilliant football. They are trying to get us safe so lets get behind them.

No, no , no, no...... this is sbout the part we play... the players are obviously important, but I'm trying to point out our commitment .
You give a list ot of demands and follow it with conditional support if the players perform to your standards. Basically you'll get behind them if they give you something worth supporting first......Wrong, it's a time for support from the start, regardless of their performance. It ' s our job to motivate them for our club, not the owners, not even the plsyers, ...our club.
If people want to stand on the sidelines tutting and moaning, especially for this match, stay st home.

Totally agree  The ONLY people who stay at one club for life are the supporters the rest just pass through
