Hello Carlisle person here.
As I understand it there will be no shortage of tickets for Hartlepool fans- the usually empty end behind the goal is available if needed if all the East stand tickets go.

I have to add there has been some discussion about making the fixture all ticket for both sets of fans, so keep your eyes peeled and don't get caught out if you were expecting to be able to turn up on the day for the home end if your allocation is sold out.

Actually I don't think CUFC can react fast enough to do this anyway.... :)

If I was Carlisle id be sending at least another 500 tickets as quick as possible so that we sold as many as we can before Saturday. Who knows if our players decide to show up on Saturday we could be safe this time next week.

xtra 500 go on sale on monday for behind the goal.
If we third bottom but still need a point or three then we will probably get 1200 more.

Personally I'd rather stand and its cheaper but never mind. I think if they'd have gave the standing tickets earlier or at least so they could go straight on sale we may have sold more but there loss. It'll also hinder some that they are going on sale after the Corner Flag have said they aren't putting on more coaches. Some will get them if we're safe so a celebration or a survival fight, I just think its a bit late in the day though.

I hope you all still come even if you are safe, given that it seriously looked at one point that both teams would be lucky if safety was still a possibility come the last day. Could be a party atmosphere if indeed both clubs are safe and we're hoping for a big attendance so any help the Hartlepool fans can give us in achieving that would be most welcome.

Regarding opening the Waterworks End, we'd only want to do that if we knew for sure we were going to get over 1,900; and apparently the police have to give permission for us to increase our away allocation. Cumbria police get a bit overexcited whenever we play Hartlepool (or Darlo, Preston, Sunderland, Newcastle or Boro) because they don't get to police derby games and so any game that is remotely local and they think they're policing the Old Firm.

It's probably a really nice place to watch the game from if the weather's nice and I can understand fans who have already bought tickets for the seats wishing they'd been available from the start. It costs more money for stewards though to open a stand we normally leave closed so while we maybe missed an opportunity to make 2,400 available from the start, if we had done so and only sold 1,900 then it would have been an expensive error.

If you do get to watch the game from the Waterworks then over by the corner of the pitch nearest the seated away fans, in front of the sports centre is a small cluster of white seats. I don't know whether you're allowed to sit on them, or what they're for if you can't but they're from the Feethams, we rescued them for a quid each when Darlo were knocking it down.

It's all sorted with the police apparently. 1902 seats sold. Terrace tickets go on sale next Monday. Hope we're safe by then and it can be a party atmosphere (even if its just celebrating with total relief). Really don't want the old nerves jangling too much.

I can see why Carlisle have done this from their point of view. It's so annoying though that a - I have a seated ticket.
b - I have to watch from a touchline view.
seriously love being behind the goal especially at away games.
Gutted the tickets can't be exchanged . I'd buy another but can't see the lads I'm going with wanting to fork out for another ticket.
