3 huge games at the bottom of the league:
Tranmere at Plymouth who are 7th and will be fighting to stay in the playoffs.
Chelthenham at home to Shrewsbury who are 2nd and 2 points behind the leaders and will be looking to secure promotion that day.
Pools vs Exeter who are 11th and will need results to go right for them in the last 2 games to get into the playoffs.

All 3 are tough games, Pools probably have the "easiest" game - at home to a team with the least to play for out of the 3. I wouldn't bet on Tranmere or Chelthenham to win and it's simple, if they lose and we win we stay up.

Mirfin was a big loss today, this team needs to play 5 at the back just to stay in games and Fenwick is due a goal.

I'll tell you what is bound to happen

Clinton Morrison who had a trial with us has yet to score for Exeter, so guess what I feel will happen next week?

Isn't it law that the League Two relegation battle goes to the last minute of the last game of the season?

As I said on the other thread I have a good feeling about next weekend. I just think we are due a wee bit of luck, and I also don't think Exeter will really fancy it much after a long trek up here.

If Mirfin is back fit that will be a huge bonus.

I'm not sure about being due luck, we've had plenty of it in the last few weeks, albeit not in our results but certainly in others.

Ronnie Moore has done a brilliant job to get us in a position where we we won't be down when we go to Carlisle regardless of next weeks results. The last few games have been frustrating and disappointing but thankfully it is still in our hands. I also have a good feeling about next week, I really hope it's just a party day in Carlsile....

Given several recent failures to extract themselves from the mire against less-than-average opposition IMO all three sides must surely be absolute shite and therefore fully deserve to be relegated. However, one of them will get lucky and stay up - if only for another season. Lets hope that it is Pools but in all honesty the club doesn't deserve to retain its FL place. The fans alone deserve to see L2 football football next season, not the players or the owners

Wonder what the odds of all three teams losing both games are?
