You spend a little time with this man and it's doesn't matter how bad things are on and off the pitch, how disillusioned you are - you are a full born Poolie again.

His aura migrates to you and you are surrounded by it, in a Ready Brek glow fashion. I found myself chanting in the car on the way home, reading Pools book on the bog ( despite the narcissistic element) and feeling blue and white.

You wake up pissed off it's not a match day, and think 'yes, travelling for three days to Newport could be worth all the grief'.

May even go to the Clippie Club and I haven't been since the dreadful Yvonne tried to do her turn under a different name many moons ago. Only stripper I have seen booed off stage.
