I'd be very tempted to give them a shot now and ensure they understand there's no pressure on them.

You can argue they might not be ready for league football but it's clear the majority of the current first aren't so what's the worst that could happen? They might lose a few games and lose confidence a bit but surely the experience will benefit them ready for next season, when we'll undoubtedly have to rely on them more.

Green connection anyone?

Maybe they are playing against decent teams, not like the first team.at least our younger lads would be keen to get stuck in and play with a bit of pride.

I wasn't suggesting fielding the entire youth team. I'd like to think there's a few with the potential to play conference/league two otherwise what's the point of the youth team?

Got to agree about the youth players being given a chance this season as quite a few of them will be needed next season when the out of contract players get scattered.

Good quality signings would be lovely but they've not been forthcoming for several seasons in league football. What makes you think they'll be more freely available in the conference?
I find it difficult to believe the wage budget will be larger if we become fan owned either. If the rumoured interested parties did get on board, with or without the fans trust, it could well be a different story but we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not saying they will come infact we all know they wont. I'm just saying that's what we need. Let these no hopers shirkers piss poor excuses of footballers see out the season not let young lads feel the wrath of everyone
