The death has been harrowingly slow - and it ends without so much as a whimper.

Putting we poor saps as supporters to one side, so many folk deserved better - Dalts, Brian, Cyril (RIP), Harold (RIP), Billy Ayre (RIP), Robby Mc, Neale, Bakes, all those players who saw their careers ended playing for us, etc.

Gutted.

Marlon, fuck off, you have no right to wear the shirt....

The current bunch of clowns wearing the shirt have no interest in playing for the club, they just want a pay cheque

Those former Poolies who played with passion and battled for the club in days gone by or no longer with us are being let down in a big way.

Marlon should leave as soon as he can.....rubbish!

Personally Jordan Jones was worse just to name one. That was far from Marlon's worst performance for us as well and that's the problem. We inherently good enough and have relied on loans who aren't good enough to get in there own teams to make the difference and its failed

Are people genuinely having a go at Jones? He was head and shoulders above a vast majority today. He and Smith were the only bright points. They chipped away and never stopped running.

Harewood never fecking started running and some of our defending was soft shite stuff.

I thought Harrison and Mirfin played well today.

Spent the majority of the game in the air. The only proper passing which was done was when burton managed to get it on the deck, even then it was barely good play.

J Jones and Compton were poor, Comptons corners simply shocking. Not one of the 4 front men used caused the slightest problem for the Burton defenders. Tshibola was missing all game, Featherstone did ok but was at fault for the goal. Dan Jones gave the ball away just about every tome he got it. Mirfin and Harrison only two who can hold their head up.
That said, the atmosphere in the ground is about as flat as the performances on the pitch.

Absolute rubbish.

You cannot blame young Jones when he has a defender behind him in Austin sitting so deep he offers no support whatsoever. Austin's attacking threat is non existent, at professional level you cannot afford that weakness.

Have to agree it is like watching a slow painful death. Occasionally the patient comes back to life only to slip back into a coma again soon after.

Ok, we'll all pretend that he had a good game then and didn't really contribute the square root of fuck all.

makes me chuckle when clowns pronounce this about such and such a player. there have been far far far worse players in pools shirts that ANY of this current shower of shite. the problem is that we have hardly any outstanding players to carry the dross. all much of a muchness.
