This is the thing, if IOR and Ken hodcroft could find a way of being open and honest with fans and treat us with the respect we deserve then I recon most fans would be willing to get right behind IOR and both work together to improve things on the pitch.

I'm with yous all the way if they keep up with the attitude they currently have then they can do one for all I care but if they were able to show some sort of togetherness with the fans and be open then it's a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. What's happened has happened. Even if nobody wanted to make an offer to buy pools and ior don't have any plan to stay much longer if they could stick around until fans had some sort of set up to step in and take the reins until new owners came about.

Hodcroft has had multiple chances to speak but it's always no further comment. Anyone who believes this was actually hodcroft needs to think again. Simpson is employed by pools. To me it looks like a very poorly thought out pr stunt.

I doubt it's made up to be fair but it's too little too late. They have shown they are willing to let the club die over a petty spat with the council. What's to say they don't fill us full of bullshit and continue to let us rot.

I think this is likely complete bollocks. If Ken cared he wouldn't have waited until IOR had run the club into the ground before trying to get friendly with the fans.

I would normally agree with you Mr Medium, I have been booed on more than one occasion on here for being perceived as overly positive and/or wanting to wait to see what happens before saying how shite things are.....however, I am highly sceptical because of what has gone on to date with Ken - the bullshit spouted about FFP, income from Luke James, Jack Baldwin, the timing of those deals, releasing our, arguably, better players (Monkhouse etc) due to wages etc etc.

What has changed that he now wants to get us on side?
