Some decent bands on there and I bet Kate Tempest and Eliza Carthy working together is good. I saw Eliza Carthy playing a one -off gig with a salsa band and she was brilliant.

I'd be very keen to see them and Mogwai if I was near enough.

It would be 35 years to the month since the first time I ever saw The Fall live!

Saw The Fall there too but I reckon that was early 82 (they certainly played "I'm Into C.B" and "Marquis Cha-Cha"). It was a funny old gaff that Bierkeller!! 1.5ltr Steiners pretending to be pints at 80p each.

Tyne Theatre. The Bierkeller was Summer 81 and the next time I saw them was Riley Smith Hall Leeds Dec 82. Then they played at some crap nightclub in Middlesbrough after the Rock Garden had caught fire (again) in 83, that WAS truly appalling.

I could add something to that site! Support Act that night was The Laughing Clowns, featuring Ed Kuepper from The Saints.
