Depends on the team picked today, he must put Fenwick back in for Marlon who will give 100% and bring in Hawkstone for either Franks or Compton.

Seriously though, maybe he dropped him to motivate him? We were never going to win against Shrewsbury and he's gone on record to say he needs to work more off the ball in league football. I know if I was dropped after scoring I'd work my danglies off in the next game.

We were brilliant to be fair. Real shame not to get the winner but we were by far the better team. 400 Pools fans different class, singing beginning to end. Every player did well but woods and tishbola best midfield pair we've had for a long time. They ran themselves into the ground. Long time since I've been as proud of a performance.
Well done Pools.

On way back now, we played really well, Tranmere awful team, few times we could of got in, We could and should of won the game, fans were superb from start to finish, superb atmosphere.

The midfield three were superb today (Woods especially) although Tshibola needed subbing towards the end as he was shattered. Franks put in a few good balls, ran the right side very well. Thought the defence looked shaky but maybe that's out of fear of seeing them this season to the point I just expect the team to score. Their goal was soft with Duckworth at fault, he didn't switch on to the quick throw and we were left to pay. Bingham really impressed too. Good performance all in all. Quite enjoyed it; fantastic atmosphere in the away end too.

If it clicks we will get points feb is key as we play mid table sides. It's a tall order but you never know..
