We are all aware of the predicament we are in. So many people on the message boards are on smashing into the team, where were you all when we won last week. I noticed there were hardly any comments. I thought the performance was brilliant in the first half yesterday. Seccond half I agree it was sloppy but the goals were down to individual errors. Harrison, Duckworth and Bingham on that last for the corner. Austin is worth a mention too. They are all young lads, bar Aussie.... He's past it for me! But you are going to make mistakes with in experience.

After the first goal went in, it was the same Hartlepool mentality of heads down and you are going to get that from a team who is used to being beat. We NEED someone who can finish! A proven goal scorer. If we got on the front foot I think it would of honestly been a different game. Moore has given the lads something to fight for, fire in the belly.

We played a team that will at least be in the play offs and I didn't think we disgraced ourselves. With a few more lads in, I honestly believe we may just hold on to a position in the leauge.

Get behind the team for God sake, we have started to improve. It was never going to happen over night. The mans not a magician.

This is going to be an interesting thread. I would suggest you delete your account and never post on here again.

I suggest you come to the realisation that this is a message board for people's opinion. I will post what I like.

And so will the people who are 'smashing into the team'??

Ok, my opinion is that we're fucked and it's the fault of everyone at the football club. The previous owners, managers have came and went and the players are shitebags who are just picking up a payslip every month.

None of them over the past few years give a single fuck about the club and as such I don't give a fuck about them. We're 9 points adrift, all but relegated and they're posing on Twitter knowing fine well they will get another job after this one. Fuck them all, they deserve pelters, they need every second here to be a nightmare because none of them from the top to the bottom have done anything to keep us up this season.

New owners
Staff
Manager
Coaches
Players

Every last one of them can fuck right off for me, none of them have the clubs best interests at heart.

If this makes me a pessimist then so be it, we're a wreck of a football club and no one has done anything to stop it happening.

I was simply stating that some people just love to complain. There were hardly any people on here talking about the positives. Surely if you support the team you would actually support them also. Granted they do deserve slating however the same people have had no positives to say at all. Everyone's a critic.

The new owners have been in for three weeks! Haha

Have you never even considered how difficult it would be to get players to come and play for us.

Because last week was a one off game. I remember people on here getting all excited after we came from 2-0 down against 10 men Newport.

To convince people Pools have turned a corner they need to go on a run of 6 or 7 wins. 45 minutes of good football every 5 games is not good enough.

My view is very simple. We are down - period. I think the owners believe that with maybe a sprinkling of hope mixed in. I don't think its wise to sign players on expensive contracts either. We're in a position now where we can dump the majority of those who got us relegated (Hodcroft and Green aside) and rebuild in the Conference; debt free and in a position to rebuild the team.

I'm not convinced by the conspiracy theories that Hodcroft is still involved although I wouldn't be shocked either.

New owners? A bloke who owns a nightclub who no one knows anything about and is quieter than a church mouse?

Everything is still the same, same players, coaches, chief exec, Hodcroft still about. Only difference is a different three letters own the club and instead of hiding behind FFP it's now the fit and proper test.

Apologies to whoever said the above but it's sums it up perfectly.

It's not like the club can just dump the players, they wouldn't want to do it financially as they would have to pay out their contracts in full. We are a thin squad already... Do you suggest we just sit back, forfeit the games and worry about next season?

i don't believe theres a choice. They are simply not good enough as a squad to put together a run of form that is play offs level. Not unless we sign a new team, loan or otherwise and without that we are already relegated.

They had the option to invest earlier, they haven't. Money does talk and players will come if the price is right. If they were being honest with their promises of doing anything they can to keep us up then they'd have spent a bit by now.

It wasn't the new owners or Moore who got us in this position. If we had an experienced manager earlier in the season it could have been turned around long before now.

Not really because you would have different players in. Plus not all of the players have that attitude. There's no point even saying anything remotely positive on here, it's like bait for sharks.

What a nutter. Last week we beat a very poor Cheltenham side. This week we got a creaming from a side whose performances we're apparently going to start emulating from nowhere to ensure survival. Worryingly, i know one other person that thinks this, and he's a holocaust denier. Make yourself a coffee pal, and smell it for all its worth.

So we didn't play we'll in the first half then? I'll tell you what... I'll make that coffee and you can smell it too.

Because all that matters in the end is the result. And as you have already said it was individual errors again. How many times have we said that this season. How many more times from now until the end of the season will people come on here and say we played well it was just individual errors.

When you're bottom of the League and effectively 10 points adrift, finding positives like "we drew the first 45 and lost 3-0 in the other" are irrelevant. You either put up or shut up. Unfortunately, we have a team who can't be arsed to do it, which can be the only logical explanation for the embarrassing second half performances this season. I don't see any positive in that. The only one is that if TMH are the real deal, we'll never see most of these players in a pools shirt ever again.

Ok I commend you for staying positive but I also think you need sectioning. I haven't decided if you're on a wind up or you're deluded.

If you're not on a wind up then good on you if you want to believe the shit that's getting fed week after week. My money is staying firmly in my pocket from now on when it comes to Pools. Until I see someone invest and keep their promises .

People can't keep banging on about our first half performances, it's the result at the end of 90 minutes that matters. I honestly couldn't careless we played well first half, it's not an improvement, we had plenty of games pre Ronnie Moore were we played well first half then collapsed second half. The players we have couldn't give a shit about the team and it shows.

I don't bother posting on this now because it's seemingly judged by half a dozen to**ers who cannot accept that anyone else might conceivably gave a different, or even slightly modified, opinion than their own. For Christ's sake, Poolie31 is perfectly correct and we should encourage the team whilst there's still a thread of hope- which of course there is with a load of teams still floundering in the mid twenties. I agree that we are shite. True, same old story on Saturday- good first half , concede from again within 5 mins of restart, concede two more within the following 10-15 minutes. Game over. Deja vu. Other games went against us. On another day they won't. If we don't beat Tranmere and games go against us I would say we are pretty doomed but there are some encouraging signs since Moore took over and the constant doom laden tosh from this forum isn't going to help. So instead of vying with each other for the wittiest rendering of the repetitive shite we're burdened with at the moment why don't we have the intelligent discussion which Poolie31 was trying in vain to instigate.

Can I just add that I apply no blame whatsoever to Ronnie Moore. He's doing a good job as far as the materials available will allow. Trouble is, you can build on foundations of sand.

I agree, but
And its a BIG BUT

It will cost far far more to regain football league status than
trying to retain it.

I honestly couldn't careless we played well first half, it's not an improvement, we had plenty of games pre Ronnie Moore were we played well first half then collapsed second half. The players we have couldn't give a shit about the team and it shows.

The first half was ok elite

Or the FHWOE for short

Ok Russ no worries then.

How strange that the two here backing each other against the masses have joined in october and April 2014 sctatchinghead Russ planted a couple of pop up now we need backing bullshit seeds simple  Worse part is he still believes we are totally foooking stupid rakxe

Maybe he has several computers at his desk? He might use them all to vote for his favourite Football League CEO of the year contender too.

I've resigned myself to accepting Pools are to become non league, they've been playing like it for some time now so it'll just be the opposition that are different next year. Early Jan I was one of the fans saying give the new owners until end of the transfer window but it's looking less likely money will be spent. Since the takeover they've been as quiet as IOR, there's been mention of them not meeting the leagues rules as yet but that doesn't stop them fulfilling their promises of involving the fans more.
