You would of thought they would be pulling there puddings out giving 100% to try n get a new contract basically save there own jobs.

Instead the spineless fuckas have resigned to the fact that they will never play proffessional football again. I know its only january but i would rather give the young lads some game time see if thetes any potential there.

Most of the players probably think they are better than the conference and their agents will find then a league club. They dont give a fuck about our club.

A few are trying. People like Austin will give a shit, he's just not the player he was.

I think people like COMPTON, harewood, bates etc couldn't give 2 fucks.

You need to make your mind up. Do you like Compton or not?

We need answers

He's just not bothered about the place.

I know mate, just being a bit light hearted.

He is an infuriating fella who needs to stop wallowing in self pity and get on with the best job in the world being a professional footballer.

I was thinking back the other day to our 90 survival team with Dalton and Honour, wingers with lots of ability and quality but also they gave a shit and it showed on the field. In addition to those 2 in that team we had a future Scotland International, Nobbs who was way above Div 4 and the 2 strikers who played in higher leagues.

This squad is as bad as I have ever seen and a lot of it is down to their attitude or lack of it. Too many without the heart for a fight

None of them would have been on wages anything like your current squad will be on (in comparison) and would know that if they got relegated the chances are they'd be looking for a job in the real world. Modern day footballers have it too easy and get too much money, thanks to the influence of Sky TV and the premiershite.
I know a few of you like to rib us Darlo fans for the level we are at but the crop of players we have have a much better attitude than the majority of the players we had when we were full time pro. They are just like the people who pay to watch them, working the day job and going to the football, albeit on the other side of the fence. They appreciate the efforts the fans make to watch them because they have to make the same effort.

Attitude is a massive deal at this level, As is doing things simply.
Compton is a luxury we can,t afford at this stage or this level.
As a sub he could do a better job.

As regards end of season, I think you have to have a massive
Clearout and not just on field.

I think part of the takeover deal preserved certain peoples jobs.

I agree Chip Brobel was a find. I was shocked he was sent packing. Frank's and Compton nine games out of ten are completely anonymous. I am embarrassed thinking I pay to watch them.

Think said Director should fall on his sword.

I heard it wasn't for football reasons that he was sent packing.

Definately time to give the boy Green (and I don't mean Russ) a go in midfield alongside Tsibola. Thought Green had a smashing debut against Sheff U then was dropped for Bates. Woods isn't consistent enough and not convinced he's a central midfielder even though he did well against Cheltenham. Also may as well give Connor Smith a go instead of Compton because again Compton only only turns up now and again.

I was told that he asked for his loan to be terminated as he felt his form and confidence was gone.

I'm sorry that is cliched bobbins.

You have one of the better teams at that level because you are probably paying more than just about every other team at that level. I'm sure just about everyone of them would jump at the chance of playing pro football and would leave in a heartbeat for that chance. I'm sure you still have your fair share of big heads and knob heads. That's life. If you think they all play 'for the love of the game' then you're deluded are they playing for free? Nobody questions effort and desire when you win most weeks.

Our players just aren't very good at this level Sky and the Premiership have got bot all to do with it's just most teams are better than us. The effort is there, the quality isn't.

Well we will have to disagree on this. So you are saying that the wages you are paying your underachieving players aren't inflated by the knock on effect of the premier league? Did you not prefer it when players looked like they give a shit despite not being on an inflated wage?

I'd imagine wages in League Two have actually on average decreased over the last five years due to the introduction of FFP. There's no knock on from the Premier League that's an absurd comparison. You have gadgies earning over a million pounds a month that is one player Pools wage bill for the entire year will be less. League Two and the Premier League are not even on the same planet. We have players on a few hundred quid a week probably not far off what some get for a playing at the likes of Darlo. It also wouldn't shock me greatly if some of our players end up playing at that sort of level next year. Will they all of sudden give 100% for the cause and be playing solely for the love of the game.... I'm welling up here.
