Do you leave games early?

There were a few there today who left after the second goal. Thought it was a bit pointless to travel all that way to then fuck off to save a) watching the inevitable defeat and/or b) get home 20mins earlier.

As enormously unlikely a come back is, there's always that game that defies all the odds (Morecambe last season for example)

Can't think of any game I've ever walked out of....come close but never done it.

The players usually leave at Half Time, the fans do well to see out another 25

Get out early n beat the traffic you could shave 30 mins off your journey.

It's also bloody awful to watch aswell, big factor.

I left the luton home game earlier in the season when the 2nd goal went in, went up to see the roker lights, more entertaining.

I've never understood leaving games early especially when you commit an entire day to an away game. Shrewsbury today is three and a bit hours either way so to get there in decent time you are dedicating half a day of your life. So what difference does half an hour make? You obviously had nothing planned as you are at the other end of the country watching Pools and if we were winning 2-0 the exit would be the last place you were heading for.

Mind the ones who leave home games early are probably just as bizarre even last week we were winning fucking WINNING no less 2-0 and hundreds are heading for the exit after 88 minutes, utter cranks, it's hardly the M25 in rush hour leaving the Vic after a 3,000 is it!?

I don't get it all, sometimes for me the very worst games are the ones you need to watch until the bitter end.

Never left a game before the final whistle, felt like it on many occasions, none more than when we were 3-0 down after about half an hour on a beach of a pitch at Stockport a few years only to get a 3-3 draw, if only we had a Richie Barker now. Think Danny Wilson got sent to the stand that day after an altercation with Jim Gannon.

I admit I've left early three times this season. Carlisle, Wycombe and Morecambe. I could only take so much of the pathetic performances in those games.

Caught the 7.52 to brum then i heard marlon was in the starting 11so i got the next train home. Heard the early squad had a cracking time with wolves fans in the bulls head.
Have only left early once and that was when when we conceded a fifth goal and 4 extra mins was announced. Can you blame me?

I don't qualify for the NLGE elite.

Until this season I rarely did it. This term I left the Carlisle and Burton games well early, just couldn't take any more and I didn't want to put the bairn off for life.

My own main reason is the 'what if?' (as well as the 'I've made the effort to be here and paid for it')

What about half time?

Are you one of those looking to beat the queue?

Yeah, I was at those too. Burton was just desperate. But I'm with PJ - I was already 3hrs away from home, another 20mins of utter despair makes no odds.

I just tell my lad it makes the wins all the better....not that there have been many of those recently

Never before this season have i left a game early. Now, I think, particularly at this stage, that my season ticket has effectively paid for itself. So come the 60/70 minute mark, if things are so bad like they were against Carlisle and Burton, I feel I might as well get to the pub, and Me and my mates aren't the only ones...

Under the last few years of IOR I felt more of a customer than a supporter, and my outlook towards the whole game of football changed drastically. Doesn't look like things will be reverting back anytime soon.
