Whats the deal with the Rakish Bingham loan? Is it with an option to buy at the end? I don't really understand why Mansfield would loan out a player to another club who could potentially they could potentially be in a relegation battle with unless they were just wanting rid of him.

Just a loan until the end of the season, or until they recall him which if he carries on like he started will be in a fortnight.

As for the last bit, your guess is as good as mine. They did say it was because they brought some other players in though, by some it's like 6/7 isn't it? Some way of getting around the FFP perhaps, no idea, four goals in twenty for them wasn't it? Maybe that lad from Fleetwoods better bbolt

Looks a good player so far, just what a team in our and Mansfield's position is after. Agree its a head scratcher

When I googled him it said 3 goals in 11 but maybe its out of date. It also said Man City, Newcastle and Fulham were all after him when he was at Wigan. Then he was just released.

Maybe more of a story to him off the pitch, but if he does the business on it who cares? It's only a temporary deal so nothing to lose.

Isn't the loan with just a clause that he can be recalled within the first month ? They've just signed Billy Kee from Scunthorpe on a 3 month loan, so I (IMHO) can't see them calling him back

I thought it was they could recall him anytime after 1 month but may be wrong. Maybe simply just wanted to be starting games, Mansfield wanted Kee and thought to keep him happy will send him on loan.

If their results don't pick up then they will surely recall him even if he just sits on the bench. If we somehow managed to overtake them with Bingham
In our team, their manager would have to be sacked surely?

A recall would surely mean an increase in their wage bill (surely we'll be paying Bingham's wages) so it not that cut and dry. Maybe had move someone out to get Kee in, so had themoney available.

Yeah I hope he can go on a good run too. Hopefully with the team pulling together he will get a lot of support and more chances will be created.
