How hard can it be to organise, we seem to make a dog's dinner of this at pools unnecessary long queues putting off many would be punters and much needed money into the coffers. The bottle bar is a good idea but not always open and then there's the pies, awful air and gravy efforts, how hard can it by to source a decent pie for match day..... clueless. Surely some of these simply match days fixes can now be sorted...

Get yourself a pie outside the ground, and take it in, the van outside the Millhouse for example, and save yourself a couple of quid in the process.

We go in the Centenary Lounge at half time (now a Shearer free zone) a pint from a glass in the warm with a bit of Jeff Stelling. The problem this season has been motivating yourself to go back out and watch the rest of the match.

They could make more money with a bit better organisation though, the queue is often massive and they only have a couple of staff on. We are in a round so one of us has to go in a few minutes before half time every match. You can see people come in and not bother with a pint because of the size of the queue at times.

Previously contacted Russ to offer my considerable expertise at no cost to them, however it is not seen to be an area of concern banghead

Most clubs are shit at shifting food/drink at half time to be fair.

At Mansfield I asked the server for a Bovril, and he looked as if he'd never heard of it before.

I remember Rushden and Diamonds being really efficient, like a proper fast food operation. It can't be that difficult to sort out.

That would save the beer queue.

When you go to music festivals, they pre pour pints and have them waiting for busy times. There is a shelf behind the bar at the Mill House side. It would take nothing to pour a few pints out before half time and have them waiting for the rush. I wouldn't mind getting a pint that was poured a few minutes ago if it meant I didn't have to wait in the queue, in the cold for most of the half time break.
