I personally wouldn't use the word 'jerks' I use the term 'fucking animals' McDonald sent Evans a text on the way to the hotel to let him know 'he'd got a girl' Evans made his way to the hotel and we know what happened next. Arrogant, arsehole, animals.

The ins and outs (so to speak ) of the case are not really the issue here which nobody seems to really get. People say Evans has 'served his time' including the Oldham chairman, has he? He is still only out of prison on licence having currently served just over half of his sentence. So he hasn't actually served his time yet. Secondly and onto the major issue to why he shouldn't be resuming his career yet; he's not showed any remorse whatsoever. He has only apologised publicly to his girlfriend, he has not even expressed regret whether it was rape or not for his behavior I talked about in the first paragraph, which isn't really anything to be proud of is it? He talks about it like he was merely unfaithful like going through some pissed up teenager with your mate is normal behavior. Now we know why he isn't remorseful, because he thinks he the victim of a miscarriage of justice and wants to fight to clear his name which is his absolute right. But if that's the case then surely that is what his focus should be entirely on? It is ongoing why even put yourself in the spotlight when you have this more pressing matter?

So the argument when you think about it doesn't need to even get to any moral high ground talk of political correctness or talk about someone having the right to move on with life and be reintegrated into society because he is not accepting he needs to be. In the words of Steve Howard in these circumstances this return to football is 'too soon' I am just grateful it wasn't Pools but I am assured this is only because we couldn't sign him on loan.

The Oldham chairman has supposedly quit after receiving threats. All going a bit crazy this!

He has been very poorly advised or has chosen not to listen to advice, like I said yesterday what happened crime or not was so unsavory he should have made this sort of statement the day he was released.
