How did that happen?

The little toe nail on my right foot has just come off! It didn't even hurt. Strange! :shock:

once got hit on my big toe playing cricket and the time i had ingrowing toe nail - the cricket ball got drove back to me whilst bowling and i tried to field it with my foot and it hit the big toe right on the end and forced the toe nail to break through the skin like batman's ears - jesus it hurt - and chiropodists are just perverted dentists and nazi scientists - ok this will hurt and theres no pain relief - cackle cackle cackle :evil:

Playing 5 a side a few weeks ago I kicked the bottom of someones foot. My big toenail had gone black, and I'm told this means it will drop off. Can't wait.

Funniest thing about your big toe nail dropping off (mine did after some ratbag parked his car across my garage entrance thus ignoring the 'Do No Park Across This Garage' sign and I took a running boot at his car, missed the crumple zone and hit a strong point) is that I expected it to grow out from the root and it doesn't, the surface just goes hard. :shock:

One of my toe nails was black for well over a year...it didn't drop off. It slowly grew off.

it's a shame blokes don't use nail varnish really, and all this commotion could be avoided. Well, apart from Lawrence maybe.
