What's gone wrong so far

Apart from Everything, this is my top 10 errors Pools have made this season (in no particular order)

1) Walton and Monkhouse leaving.
2) Murray's appointment and sacking after 2 months, when Moore or Laws should have been appointed then.
3) Losing James and not replacing him. Losing Poole and not replacing him. Leaving us with Marlon and nothing else.
4) The signing of Fenwick - he's a non-league player and will never make the grade.
5) Persistence of playing Walker - asking too much of a 19 year old lad in midfield when we need a grafter in there.
6) Persistence of player Franks on the left
7) 3 right backs and no decent left back
8) The club's distancing away from the fans, you used to be able to mingle with the players, it's very them and us now.
9) Replacing Collins/Burgess/Baldwin with Parnaby/Bates and too many loan signings
10) Losing to Blyth on TV.... the lowest point for many years

For me this all started when we decided to practically give the season tickets away. Lack of income resulting in less money to spend on players with a chairman that was tight as fuck to start with. The "amazing" season ticket deal was the beginning of the end for me

I'd imagine the season ticket deals have actually increased turnover. Can you imagine the crowds without it? Teams use cheap season ticket deals as a way of getting around FFP as getting in a big chunk of money in June/June increases what you can actually spend. The decline started long before that. Bad decisions at all levels of management within the club in recruiting staff and players are to blame, the season ticket deal has been one of the only successes in recent years.

You missed letting Collet go as goalkeeper coach, it was obvious from then that we were doing everything on the cheap and look where it has got us

Was watching the keepers warm up at Mansfield, Flinders was telling Maxted which way to kick it, when he sent one the opposite way, you should have seen his reaction, spat out the dummy and Pears is one of the most miserable looking people I have seen, I know it must be depressing making silk out of pigs ears but come on banghead

Maxted should be banging on ronnies door wanting an explanation as to why he cant get a game.

The back four is no excuse for letting slow soft worm burning shots go under him every game.

Is his contract up in may i hope so !

For me the decline started with the sacking of Danny Wilson.
