exactly what has been required

If they don't like it, they should go home to their mummies and cry, and never come back

ALL PLAYERS SHOULD KNOW THIS IS WHAT WE ALL EXPECT OF YOU

Stand up and fight for this club and put pride in YOUR performances - make sure you are WORTHY to represent Hartlepool United at all times, every game, home and away

if not you deserve to lose your careers. Only YOU lot can do the right thing by yourselves and by this club

but we will never forgive you for the first half of the season if we go down - so the only way to be forgiven is to survive. It is up to all of you to do that

Love his interview on pools world. Straight away 'we need leaders and some pace.' Spot on.

Also very confident of bringing faces in in January and if we survive this year then promotion next year! :)

I was thinking the same. If we go down now then providing Moore is given some funds then I would at least feel confident of doing ok next season.

 Well if the players are up for the challenge as much as us and ronnie then carlisle away could be party time.

Sending the sheep down on last day would be quality!

Well, he's won me over. I think we need a song for our new knight in shining armour...

To the tune of Robin Hood... rolf

"Ronnie Moore, Ronnie Moore riding through the glen
Ronnie Moore, Ronnie Moore with his band of men
Feared by the loids
Loved by the Pools
Ronnie Mooooore Ronnie Moooore"

Repeat.

No, i'm not John Lennon. Just a man with a day off work. rolf

Players may be in for a tough time by the sound of it - and how some of them deserve it.

Like the guy already, laying down the law for them and give them a good kick up the backside and get them going.

I am not ecstatic that the interview with BBC hints that loan players will be used to dig us out of it. Unless they are of a much higher quality than this division

Decent interview from Chairman too. 'The fans want their club back' :)

Ultimately the new owners won't be able to sack some of the shite they've inherited so loans will be needed until the end of the season just to keep things balanced.

If the owners are football people with contacts and if Moore is the wiley old lower league head we hope he is then the loanees should be of a better quality, and lets face it what the squad needs is one or two players who aren't scared to be a bit nasty.

For too long Pools have had a squad of mice, we need some men.

As long as Moore has control over who comes and stays i'll be happy. I hope the days of bringing in loans for the sake of it are over.

Liked this as well:

“You have got to be men and not friends,” he explained. “They are frightened of falling out, that’s what I think at this moment in time.

“They need someone to go in and have a right pop at them, which I’ll do today.

“When I’ve done that then we’ll get on with doing the right things."

Pools need a leader on the pitch who is not afraid to bollocks people while the game is going on - people have been saying for years that this is an unbelievably quiet set of players and recent captains (Austin, Collins, Flinders) just underline that.
