I think people are just putting 2+2 together with the Turner thing. I reckon he's happy where he is.

This would be an early Christmas present, especially if it somehow involves Hodcroft's public castration in Church Square...which should be in the small print... rolf bbolt

Well Turner did say he would never return if Hodcroft was here.

Didnt Turner and Green have a consortium lined up before and they turned out to be crooks or something?

Why??

As long as it's not as manager, the bloke has always had the club at heart and some ambition for it. You've got to remember he was working with Hodcroft as well. What would be a better alternative Hodcroft or Turner?? No fucking brainer for me.

I dont mind if he is nowhere near the dressing room etc with no influence at all on the team or transfers. The guy is a born loser.

So who owns the Shearer picture? Ken or the club?

I so hope the owners let Muttley bash it to pieces with his dildo!

Same group as last time?

“I was part of a consortium that almost took over Wednesday a few years back. That would have been awesome. It wasn’t an ego thing where I wanted to be chairman or anything like that.

“I just wanted to help and I was in a position to put in a million or two. I also have the contacts that can make things happen.

“It was only right that the fans should have some say. They are the ones who care for a lifetime.

“The sadness is that at the top level it’s all about money these days. The game has lost its soul.”

The opportunity to have a direct input into the fortunes of Wednesday having passed him by, Hobsonwas fleetingly involved on the board of ScunthorpeUnited recently, but guarantees made upon appointment weren’t kept and that was it.

Same guys as last time. I knew a source at the club around that time who was VERY excited at what they were promising to do with the club.

This has made Christmas for me! Relegation might still be somewhat inevitable but now we could have a future to look forward to at least! They're making ken pull 'an IOR company' out of every shirt with his teeth before he leaves, that's the reason for the delayed announcement

The question put to people was "What do you think you'll achieve with protests?". It seems even the threat of protest got things moving.

Well done to everyone concerned.
