I wonder if Green will hoodwink another manager into thinking he can sign new players

I like the bloke. If he is stupid enough to come here after more false promises from green then so be it.

Problem is, whoever the manager is, will fans get behind him? Most on this board have had it with the players, the club, attending matches. We desperately want and need an experienced manager and new signings. If by a miracle they arrive, will they even have a chance, with protests and bile all around.
If Ronnie Moore comes, how will everyone actually react?

That's exactly the type of man we need. Not one who constantly praises the players and "can't fault their attitude" as Cooper did. We need a nasty bastard to tell them a few home truths.

the fans will react by backing the team, with increased performance levels and increased effort on display

The fans will also continue their quest to have these owners removed if it is necessary

the two are mutually exclusive - we can support the team but not the board .

I'd settle for that situation over the current one. Rotherham were 4th in the table when they played that game.

Moore left Rotherham 3 days after that game, after he left they only picked up 10 points in the last 9 games and ended up dropping 5 places to 9th - missing out on the playoffs. So he must have been doing something right while he was there.
