Very expensive this season, last season Town End £300 this season £354 a very big jump.

Should have been an early purchase discount like the last few seasons no mention of this.

A discount in the club shop.

A better programme.

but over the season you save £60 or £21.56 if you choose the finance option
miss 4 games and you are out of pocket. but you get first dibs on the cup games and away games.
if you have the readies it is worth it

Agreed! clappp

Don't suppose this is real competition as floating fans will compare match day prices not consider who to buy a season ticket for. Only true Poolies will buy a season ticket anyway.

Just a thought £2 increase on matchday tickets yet my season ticket has gone up £2.34 per game on last season in the Town End, making the saving smaller.

When it should be all about wanting supporters to get a season ticket with a big incentive and a cut off date to give that big push.

An example Crewe £275 in any stand for adult.

A couple of points.

1 - no 'early bird' discount which means an increase of £54 not £4 for a lot of us.
2 - Discount child tickets are now only for under 12s,my nephews(12 & 15) will have to get under 16 tickets at &75
3 - Will my student card be sufficient I.D. for a concession ticket.

The family deals are great, 70 quid for additional tickets that are bought with adult tickets and 75 quid for under 16's is a really good deal in my opinion.

But 20 a game normally to get piles off the millhouse seats seems a bit steep. It's cany expensive this football lark these days......

I would disagree Phil. I think they could have been a lot more forthcoming with genuine offers and discounts. The early bird discount was once a 20% saving, that saving gradually got smaller and has now disappeared. There used to be a 10% discount at the club shop, that disappeared.

To then say that they are rewarding our loyalty by only raising the price £4 when for a lot of people it is £54 is a bit of a piss take.

I do understand that if we want a successful club then the fans have to pay more and I will still pay it but that doesn't mean I have to swallow the false claims of rewarding loyalty that the ticket office is declaring.

I was putting in the context of attracting floating fans to get season tickets not suggesting it as a viable option for any true Poolie!

Obviously Pools don't have the huge TV revenue that the Prem clubs have to subsidise prices but I do think the context is relevant for when it comes to attracting some of the armchair fans of their arses either more regularly. Love them or loathe them the club needs their dosh!

It going to cost me £470 and just 2 months to pay for it. Considering i've had a season ticket for the last 10 years I dont find anything attractive about this offer., and with the new payment plan over 10 months I think its going to be cheaper just paying match by match!!

Same story here, without the early discount our 5 tickets will cost over 200 pounds more this season. But if we were to pay on a match to match basis over the season, it would be a further 300+. So regardless we will be getting the season tickets.

Before the season ticket prices were announced today, I had put forward a plan to the other 4 Billingham Poolies, don't buy any home tickets this year, and use the money to get to more away matches. You should have seen the looks I got. I swear I felt my heart start to go.

I would love to know how many people missed the cut off date for discount last season,I bet its not many.
Some useless figures based on the CK stand,
£399 = £17.34 per game. at last years £350 it was £15.21.Thats an increase of £49 or £2.13 per game.

Game by game - £460
Season ticket paid - £399 - Saving = £61 = £2.65 per game
Season ticet on finance - £433.20 - Saving = £26.80 = £1.17 per game

The club would be in trouble if nobody got a season ticket before July so I do think they should give an early bird discount.

I was one of those daft buggers that missed the discount, But was fortunate enough to only miss out by £20 I think it was!

I do feel sorry for the people who have to buy Adult tickets, Its almost double that of a Student & Concession
There needs to be a middle ground reached between the prices in those tickets!

I anticipate though that despite these prices, People will take the club finance deal & We'll sell a fair few this season

Just another comparison with a club about our size in league 1 next season.
Port Vale (yeah ok they're shit)

Lorne St stand Adults, book before May 31 £323, between May 31 and 30 June, £361.
You can purchase 2 adult and 2 children matchday tickets for anywhere in the ground for £46 and it mentions something about free season tickets for under 9's if they join some club for a tenner a year, or maybe i've got it wrong somewhere confised

The two months interest free has a set up charge of £10 and if using credit card there is a 4% PER TICKET fee and if debit card there is a £1 fee per ticket.

Given the monthly charges rules this out, then the only option for the poolymads 4 tickets of two adults,u19 and lil poolymad is a cash payment and no bloody holiday again and that flock wallpaper will have to wait.

What price success and what price footy, family game my arse. refred

I have just checked it again and there is a £10 set up charge if using the HUFC two month plan and the 4% per ticket seems a hell of a charge for using the plastic,I could understand per transaction but not per ticket.

Yes I am having a moan but the poolymads will renew at the cheapest option and that will sting for a while.

Mmm - these prices seem a bit high. Would you consider The Kop at ER for £375. Atmosphere second to none. A Yorkshire welcome guaranteed. We have plenty of international fans like yourselves - it could be time for a change if you want value!

The 2 month interest free period was only of benefit to people when we had the early bird discount, you paid your deposit before the deadline then had 2 months to pay the remainder.

Is there any point anymore to this 2 month interest free period? After all, you can just keep the money in the bank and give them it all at the end of July.

Thats why I've paid in cash for the last 4 seasons Mr Mad, no way am I paying an extra 4% for the 'convenience' of paying by plastic.

I suppose that's one advantage of standing on the terrace, even if we do try to stand in our own spot, it's just a case of get there early enough to claim it.

Who would acuse you of moaning?

I have never have nor wanted a season ticket but this year decided after getting sick of farting around giving dna samples to get tickets that I would get one when the discounted ones comes out.

They ain't doing them so, I'm not bothering and just buying tickets midweek again - and holding on to them afterwards as well!!

ive just done some quick figures and i think with my shift pattern i will be better off paying on the gate,

the early bird discount made a big difference to me because if due to work commitments i missed a few no big loss, but now , i might as well pay as i go, i will more than likely buy the lads an under 16 ticket, and join them when i can... banghead banghead

I am seriously considering whether or not to renew. My Mrs is working a lot less so she is £100+ a week down on what she was earning before Christmas. Plus we are also trying for a family so hopefully I will be needing my money for something else.

Do you think the club will take any notice of supporters concerns over the price increase in season tickets.

Also the hidden costs do not help.

How many season ticket holders will renew with no early bird discount and how many new season tickets with this pricing structure will it tempt.

Will the club panic if sales are down on last year by say the end of June.

If the bairn and I pay at the gate for The Town End £18+£9x23 a total cost £621

Town End season tickets would cost us £354+£75 total cost £429 so is that not a saving of £192... Am I correct ? Or am I being thick and missing something?

Plus I wouldn't have to clart about when it comes to getting tickets for big games i.e. Leeds Utd and there won't be any stub ticket hassle when it comes to cup games or possibly play-off ties.

What is all the fuss about?
