Christ I'd have had that bill the other way around! Still, sorry I missed it; it would have been an opportunity to see a good gig and still get an early night

2 top nights last February,a Friday in Newcastle at The Cluny & Sunday in Stockton,Georgian theatre.
Obviously youre mistaken about the other way round as The Soledad Brothers have been one of the best live bands around for the last 4 years.

Beautiful. Music with lyrics you cant work out so you can put whatever meaning you want onto it, depending on your mood.

An excellent choice, made me dig out this. Liz Fraser made up her own language so don't try too hard to understand, although she used conventional language on this album.

Mr Groovy, I thought their European dates were cancelled?

I saw them a few years ago and they are as smart as a whole bunch of carrots.

They are touring U.S.A until mid September.Im just assuming that they will tour Europe afterwards, missed opportunity if they dont.

Would that be around December 2004 that you saw them ?I saw them in Camden on that tour & yep, they are as smart as a whole bunch of carrots

Its always been hard to find out concrete information about them on the web, the Rough Trade site doesn't list any Euro gigs.

I think it was 2004, the 'Baby' album tour. Whilst she is not a stunner Rachel Nagy is one of the sexiest women I've seen on stage. Pure filth and she knows it.
