Jelly in Pork Pies

I was having a drunken debate at the weekend (as you do)

It seems some folk like a lot of jelly in their pork pies whilst I would prefer it chock full of pork.

Preferences?

ps, has anyone been in Morrells lately? Its even better now!

Pork pies are a bit minging - I prefer pies of the steak variety. And why do some people eat pork pies cold...?

i love pork pies me,morrels fantastic, but here in the gulf you can get melton mobray pork pies £4.50 for 1 poor quality pie. i am home 1 july so if anyone knows mr morrel tell him to work over on 30th june it will be worh his while rolfl

I prefer them without the jelly or the pork, and with fresh hand made pasta instead of the pastry, and with truffles and a creamy sauce, and a glass of lacrima cristi, and a shot of limoncello to finish with.

i like hot pork pies spennymoor football club used to do nice ones. morrells is nice but i prefer the sausage sandwich mmm im working in the town tomorrow might buy one :grin:

oh if you ever in bishop middleham try wrights pies absolutely delicious steak n pigmy i mean kidney pies :wink:

farm shop pork pies (murray st) and steak pies from blackwells in norton can't get a fag paper between the meat

Martin Knowles = Best Pies in town!!!!

There's some Pies in Kwik-Save I get now and then....they are made in Sunderland and have a George Cross on the wrapper....but I can't remember the Bakers name!!!! banghead

They are Superb!!!!
