Think we have a "lost in translation" issue going on here.

Could you please explain to us newbies from darn sarth ( ) what exactly is meant by...

Clarting on

and

Rarfism?

There may be more to follow.

a rarf is a doyle. Chorbers are normally the people who become rarfs and doyles.
Hope this helps

Aye, 'clarting on' is also sometimes known as 'clarting about' and is a public display of rarfism often perpetrated by doyles or divs.

Obviously in the hallowed portals of the Bunker there is to be none of these excesses as we are an august assembly.

*opens up babel vista to see if Poolyism is an option*

Hmmmm - i'm thinking i'd best speak to the organ grinder rather than the monkey hangers (did you see what I did there?) so I can get to the bottom of this clarting on melarky.

Come on down Mr Mutley!

Clarts are clods of mud you get on your boots. Hence clarting on = mucking about.

I'm not sure of the distinction between doyles and rarfs, but I would use doyle to describe a usually sensible person who has done or said something stupid. A rarf to me is someone who is always acting in a doylish way.

Just standing in Mr Head, Muts is still kaylied from his booze/drugs cocktail of last night.

It's shameful showing from a veteran agony aunt though, and I think a first verbal warning is in order.
