I'm pretty open-minded but I do always say that you should never appoint a manager who did poorly in his time with Lithuania. Even a good record in Uganda doesn't compensate fully.

Surely that story is just to fill up a bit of space left over in the paper. Collins will be our coach/manager for a very long time yet. I'm predicting until at least January.

His agent puts his name out every time a job comes up, just to keep him relevant I suspect.

But seriously, never heard of him. How's the name pronounced? It could be crucial. For instance, you couldn't start a "Csabo out" chant without being able to say "Csabo".

From what I can gather (from a guide by the improbably named Dick Oates) Romanian is pronounced as it is written so-

"Încântat de cunoştinţă Csabo" will do us for now. "Csabo afara!" might be needed later on.

The guy is a decent manager. And having worked under Vladamir Romanov at Hearts, working for IOR would be easy.
