Come on Pools !!!!

Hopefully we'll start playing like we did when Higgy was here with some attack minded management. I'd take finishing 3rd bottom now.

So on one hand we've got Ken saying it will take a while:

On the other hand we've got the Echo saying Kavanagh is almost a done deal:

Doesn't the echo just say kavanagh helping while we look for a full time manager?

The way I read it, he may get a contract till we go through Kens long drawn out process to find a manager and he is just a stop gap.

Its from Loughlin anyway.

I don't trust anything that comes out of Pools anymore to be honest, Ken's 'interview' there is the same old bollocks.

Only fucking pools would appoint a manager who was sack at a club at the time they were below pools.

I hope I never have to walk into that ground again under the control of IOR

Kavanagh has connections with Boro and Sunderland. Maybe we could get some kids in from them? Oh wait ...

Correct me if i'm wrong lads but come January, say if "some funds" are available, why would he give this new short term manager funds after only being in charge two months to bring new faces in when Cooper got nothing ....

That's the one - with Huggy Bear Harewood as the real cool dude and Franksy as the police snitch with the permanent runny nose.

On a half-serious note, I fear for the short arses in our squad if Kavanagh comes in. Carlisle on Saturday was another episode of 'League Two - Land of the Giants."

And yes, Pools got bullied!

It was the No.17 we couldn't get a grip of, he won every header he went for, as well as flicking on the long throw for their first goal. Bates got done for height, and I said to the lads I was stood with either Harrison should have been marking him or Collins should have come on at half time for Bates and 'man-handled' him more.
A Manager who's prepared to make changes early on in a game (which Cooper wasn't) would have made that call.
I honestly think some of our players are lacking in basic common sense, which was summed up in the second half when Franks followed a long cross into the corner which he only had to watch out for a corner, then needlessly tried to keep it in giving away a throw-in.

Please no why the hell would we appoint Kavanagh- Curle has got back to back wins so who says changing the manager doesn't work, if Carlisle are our nearest rivals in the being shit stag in L2e we are well below them, they looked a reasonable side to me?
